Great gift for dog lovers, you will want it for YOURSELF!!
Loved this book! Read it all in one sitting with my expert human trainer Gracie. Bought it as a Christmas gift for my mom, but decided to “check it out” first. Ended up reading the entire thing. Took less than an hour. Well written with cute drawings. My only complaint is it is Great Britain English which can be annoying for Americans, as sometimes she uses words we don’t to refer to items, so it can be challenging to discover what she meant. But if you figure dogs would use other words I guess it works. It would be a good book for children who love dogs, probably about a 5th or 6th grade reading level, maybe lower. You could read it to younger children I think they would find it funny, as it is family friendly humor.Overall, GREAT BOOK!! Highly recommend!!! I ordered more books by this author for me this time (maybe a gift for my moms birthday in Feb after I read them). I wish she would WRITE MORE of these humorous books. Like I would LOVE to see a dog’s guide to the COVID pandemic, about how our 4 legged companions reacted to our change in routine and working from home. Or a dog’s guide to other life changes such as adopting a second dog or bringing home a baby, etc. the topics are ENDLESS. This author is GIFTED! I laughed so hard! One of the funniest books ever!!

A dog lover's delight!
Anyone fortunate enough to be owned by a dog will immediately bond with the contents of this book. Brilliant writing captures the canine mind offering the human insight and possibilities to neutralize the "pet-effect" canines will attempt to exercise over their human companions. Delightful, witty a thoroughly delightful tome this is a book to be savored as we smile at the all too familiar picture that is painted with broad strokes and tongue-in-cheek fun.

Must read for all dogs who have or are considering getting a human.
Are you having problems training your human? Are you fed up to the end of your leash with their bad behavior. If so, this guide is a must read for any dog considering getting a human companion, or those having problems with one already adopted. With as much detailed information in the book, I'm shocked that it made its way into human hands. The book written by a West Highland White Terrier, is an easy read for any young pup to an older senior and gives in-depth tips into selecting a human; how to train your new human to play on demand; feed you the best food; getting your human to fetch; take you for walks-everything you need to get your human to do whatever you want them to do. It serves as an excellent reference on dealing with behavior issues (only feeding you dog food, not letting you sleep on the bed and of course, putting you in an outside doghouse). It provides detailed information on how humans dress (i.e their "paw coverings") to where they keep their best food and how to get it on demand, as well as being at your beck and call. The guide is also an introduction to-yes-cats and how to deal with them. There is another in-depth guide strictly devoted to dealing with cats. This is a must read for every dog.

So true
I've got that my dog has me very well trained. She's a shelter dog and of people think these are just worthless dogs. She's me of he sweetest animal on four legs, so I want to make sure she's treated as well as, or better than, some of the pampered princesses other people have. Yep, she has me well trained.

Building on that relationship in a positive way means a happier dog and a happier you
Karen Davison really knocks it out of the park with A Dog's Guide to Humans! While it is written in a humorous and engaging style, this book focuses on the relationship between a loving dog owner and their pet. Building on that relationship in a positive way means a happier dog and a happier you. By focusing on the good and bad that can arise between owner and pet, from a dog's perspective, the reader gets an idea of the changes they can make to create a better and more enjoyable lifestyle for both parties. What a cute way to go about it!

If you like to read and you're a dog lover, this book's for you!
This book was absolutely adorable. It is a quick read, which made it nice. I could get through it just reading it over mealtimes for a couple of days. And it was so utterly comical and just unique. Written from the view of a dog giving advice to your dog, it is so funny and definitely hits home. If you love dogs, you will love this book. I will be recommending it to all of my friends.

Funny, will either fix or distroy your relationship with your dog!
This one of those books that you will read and never quite be able to look at your dog again in the same light. Also you will come across the odd story and think, "yeah ****** does that, so that's why"
