Since I purchased this my electricity bill has went down I am no longer using much electricity in my house I'm actually going to buy another one of these for the lights

I love this. Used in NC when lights went out. Radio, lights, cell phones, computer.

Overall this is a good unit for $50.Pros :- Main unit is compact and light.- Solar panel is large and seems to be a good quality one.- Ability to charge my phone, Ipod and Ipad.- Lights (3) are super bright and each has an individual on/off switch.- The 5 rechargeable batteries (18650) are removable (replaceable and can be recharged in a separate charger).- Low budget unit.- Batteries came 90% charged.- Bright flashlight with 3 modes ( High/ Low/ Strobe )Cons :- The instructions booklet is close to useless.- The charge indicator never turns green, stays red and stop blinking when charge is over (supposedly).- I wasn’t able to use the mp3 reader with my Ipod.- Quality of the radio and remote control are average.If you don’t intend to spend several hundreds $, this is a great device for camping and hurricane preparedness.

I would rate this item as good because it works but has a few glitches. 1) FM tuner is garbage. It scans stations but does NOT stop. It preprogrammed all of the preset channels but doesn't scroll through them all.2) Bluebooth works very well; was pleasantly surprised.3) Speaker is ok; but cheap; its like listening to an old transistor radio.4) Battery Level Light works but only has 4 of the 5 bars lit and I charged the unit for 6 hours.5) Great Spotlight on side of unit has low; high and flashing.6) It's a little strange to have a 6volt barrel tip to connect the solar panel; but plenty of length on the wire.7) I have all 3 LED lights and they are nice and bright; they each have a switch on their wires; have ample lengths of wire. They also have plastic hooks on them for hanging. Only thing is they are 2 different sizes. Lol8) It is a cute little unit; lightweight; compact; affordable and has great features with a few glitches.I did not buy this unit for the FM tuner; good thing too; overall I am satisfied with it.Well here I am 22 days after using this unit and I can tell you, that after charging it for 6 hours or longer there is only 2 hours of battery power. Turn on the power switch and it like, freaks out. The spotlight turns on and everything starts flashing. The Bluetooth tells me it's ready to pair, numerous times and the voice has static, like the tuner is also on, so I have to turn it off and then on again, sometimes more than once. I would not buy this unit again, which is such a shame because it's a nice little unit.

First - I ordered blue and was sent green.Second - instructions do not clearly indicate how to tell charged vs not charged. Does not state how long it takes for full charge. Power bars are red and appear full, but instructions say should turn green?Third - guessed it was fully charged since it never changed color. Played the radio, charged a phone, battery went down by 1 bar. Then suddenly the device just quits and won't turn on. Charged some more, works again, but I think I got a faulty unit.Fourth - nice radio reception.

I have a 10x12 shed that i use this in. The lights are enough for half the space well lit, and could be used by themselves if needed ( i already had some Light Me portables in there). Radio is a neat, but the SD/USB feature is the charm. Speaker is terrible, an Aux Out for speakers would be cool, but still can get loud enough to hear at lower volumes and enjoy. I bought a USB powered portable fan to use with this model and after an hour the charge indicator is still in the 80% range with fan going and lights on. Batteries look replaceable if needed in a year or two, and the solar panel is put together well. Only have wall charged it once, and i dont go into my shed everyday so it gets plenty of time to charge in the sun. Overall for the price and use, well worth the purchase.

I purchased this at the last moment before our Primitive Camping to west Texas.. it arrives NEXT DAY, I fully charged here at home. The first day I connect the solar panel ... my kids charge their devices several times during the day..while we listen my favorite 80's songs I ad to my USB memory.... ALL DAY LONG!... Then at night we had the 3 lights Bright enough to cover all the area till we went to sleep. THE BATTERY MONITOR SHOWS only ONE BARR LESS... so the charge was still almost full. Next 3 days the same... recharge with the solar panel while they recharge the phones and tablets..and I listen my music. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !!! I'm Planning to buy more one for my camping Van and other for our little cabin.. or maybe two.
