amikavelveteen dream smoothing conditioner

Makes my hair smell SO good! It is also great for smoothing the hair follicles. It lathers up nicely and for the price I think it is an excellent quality product!

This conditioner is very light weight and leaves my hair feeling silky and smooth. It detangles so well and makes my hair feel healthy. It also smells amazing! 100% worth trying.

The smell is so relaxing, the product is very high-quality, it works great on my hair. I have long fine straight light brown hair and this product works perfect on my hair type

An ex of mine is a hair stylist & started bringing me this brand’s shampoo & conditioner home after we noticed some dandruff (she scoffed when I suggested I try the other kind {H&S}).To my astonishment, it fixed the problem and then some. My seemingly helpless hair (entire life) began to change into something magnificent, hard to describe in words & I’m camera shy so this is all you’ll get (sorry not sorry).She always made it sound like it was a super exclusive brand where she picked up from “industry specific” stores which required licenses or permits of some kind (to be in the hair industry). Suffice to say, I gave myself a yuge high-five a few months after we broke up & I tried searching it on Amazon. If you’re my ex & you’re reading this - BWAHAHAHA!I’m approaching my 7th year of using this brand and have no reason to leave them. Price is reasonable, variety is satisfactory & whatever they’re using for their secret sauce, it’s working wonders! (Ok, if this review reaches 1k upvotes, I’ll upload some before/after photo’s - they’re pretty shocking).

I have naturally curly hair, and this was the conditioner that the Amika website suggested for my hair type. ( They have a quiz on their website that helps you decide which products are best for you.) I consider it one of the better conditioners I’ve tried. I do have to use kind of a large glob of it, and when rinsing I must not overdo it. It’s ok to leave a little “slick” of it in my hair. If I rinse too much out my hair will be frizzy later. I like it, but it costs more than I want to spend because of the amount I need to use daily. To be fair, I do not use the “matching” shampoo and styling products that go with this conditioner. Maybe I could use less if I did use the whole lineup.

It is a must for me before I comb freshly washed hair. It's kind of pricey though.

I love this shampoo and conditioner. I received a free sample of the shampoo and fell in love! My color treated, very fine hair felt so good after using the shampoo, I went in search for the conditioner and found it on Amazon. Yes, it's more expensive than the stuff I'd been buying at the drug store, but it is worth every single penny - and it lasts so much longer!!! Once the sample I have of the shampoo runs out, I'll be here buying shampoo and conditioner!

This conditioner feels like silk.... I love it! Although it is pricey, you literally need a quarter size amount (my hair is shoulder length and thick).
