Cetaphil Antibacterial Gentle Cleansing Bar, 4.5 Ounce (Pack of 6)

Whether its the triclosan or something else in the formula, this is by far the most effective acne fighting product I've used. It has little to no scent and washes away very clean. It's very gentle on my face and there is never any drying or tightness which is good for acne suffers. I had actually given up on it, but just kept using it because I liked the way it washed my face, and then 2.5 months in, my face was suddenly significantly clearer and is staying that way. Also, I'm allergic to most bar soaps, and have zero issues with this one.I've read there's some controversial issues with triclosan regarding human health effects and washing it off into our water supply therefore affecting the environment. So far there's nothing concrete/conclusive, but the data is adding up to prove them right, however right now the EPA and FDA has that they have no reason to ban/restrict it or make any serious health claims. Some people are concerned that trioclosan is labeled as a pesticide, well about 99% of cleaning products are registered pesticides, check the labels. This is washed off your face so dermal toxicity is limited, supposedly. But you're still washing it down the sink for the fishes and frogs to deal with.The thing I AM actually worried about is contributing to the anti-bacterial super bugs. I'll be on the hunt for a non-bacterial formula that might work, but regular Cetaphil never worked for me.Cost. Its a pretty hard packed bar compared to most moisturizing bar soaps. If you keep this baby out of the shower stream, use it once or twice a day it's going to outlast most bottles of liquid acne face soap (that are typically more expensive) or other body bar soaps. My husband went through at least two bars of Dove since I've started using Cetaphil. I've been using it once a day for 3+ months and I still have a good amount remaining.

I purchased this bar based on article by dermatologist who recommended Cetaphil moisteurizing products, in addition to a couple other brands. I'd already used their moisteurizing products and was impressed, so I purchased this soap. Also, I got a skin infection from being on the floor mats at my local gym, and wanted a bar soap that would take care of the bacteria I pick up there. This bar is great especially after a 2-hour workout where's I'm extremely sweaty and dirty. I feel 110% clean afterwards. Perhaps its just psychological, but when I use liquid body soaps that seem more based on fragrance and moisturizing rather than cleaning, my skin doesn't feel as fresh and clean as when I use this soap bar after a workout. It leaves my skin just a bit dry, but that's no problem as I just apply the light all-body moisteurizer by Cetaphil immediately after a shower. A great bar soap to use after a hard gym workout. I also like the nice lingering but very mild scent to it, too.

I have extreme Psoriasis, Eczema, and other skin rash problems. My skin sores have increased during the past 2 years; at times I have sores that just will not heal, regardless of what medications/creams I apply. Over the past year, I have used this soap daily. I find that the antibacterial ingredients help my sores to heal faster, they actually dry up and within several weeks, the sores will heal.I've tried all other soaps, antibacterial soaps, on the market, but Cetaphil Antibacterial Gentle Soap is the only soap that targets the sores and helps heal the sores over several weeks. I highly recommend this soap to any person suffering skin problems of any kind, especially people having allergies to soap, skin problems or just people with sensitive skin. The soap is gentle, having a mild fragrance, and works great.

This is the best product in market. My entire family uses it now. It works great for acne, back acne, skin problems just to mention a few. Ever since I have started using it, I have noticed a big change in the appearance of my skin. It has reduced my face acne I don't breakout as I used to. I had shoulder and back acne and lot of after marks. This did help in getting rid off.Now don't expect things to work like a miracle like everything gone in a hour or so. Give it some time to work. I have started using it for my babies too ever since they turned one. But I am careful while putting on their face as these soaps don't have those anti tear formula which baby products have. I did consult the pediatrician before using this product on my babies and he advised it fine to use.

Quite simply: The best L-lysine product I've ever used to treat my 3, fur babies. Starts working, immediately. I've been pleased to see how much better my babies feel. It shows! I use the scoop that's included to scoop the amount of L-lysine I use, and put it in the middle of each cat bowl. Then I put 1/3rd of a 5.5 oz can of wet (paté works fine) cat food on top of the L-lysine, that is in the bowl. I use a spoon to very gently flatten the cat food a little and then, I let it set for a couple of minutes, before serving. I have picky eaters, but they eat this mixture right up. Victory, it passes the PE Test!!!
