Amazing flashlight!!!
Amazing light, I bought 4 just because I had to share with all the men in the family. I can see clearly what is going on 200 ft. away, it is very clear and bright. It has 3 different setting, zoom, compact, prefect. Has rechargeable battery or you can use AA. I can say enough great things about this flashlight.

Bright light, but so many problems
I obtained this light for free as part of my citizen first responder training. It came in the gift case with one charger, two 18650 batteries (the trainers provided an extra batter) with sleeve, one 3 AAA tray, and the flashlight. The charger has a spring-loaded part which allows it to accomodate both 18650 and 14500 (AA size) lithium ion batteries. Upon usage, one of the prongs would pull out of the charger and stay behind in the electrical outlet, creating a dangerous situation. The company sent our group new chargers. The charger does have an LED indicator, which glows green for a charged battery, red for a charging battery, and yellow for a defective battery. However, batteries are difficult to fit into the charger, and sometimes pop out.The batteries themselves are ordinary 18650 batteries without any brand markings. They have a good runtime but should not be trusted. One of my batteries randomly stopped working (some kind of circuit protector was tripped). The battery would not charge and would not produce any current. After a few hours, it reset and the battery functioned normally. It was not exposed to extreme temperatures during the time. The flashlight has a slide focus on the front, with the magnifying glass so prevalent in cheap tactical flashlights. When slid out to spot, due to the design, about one-third of the light is cut off (compared to flood), and the total light output is dimmer. The beam also resolves itself into a strange rectangular shape. If a rounder shape is desired, the front can be slid in a little more. The LED is a CREE XML-U2, quite bright and relatively good beam color. The flashlight is very water-resistant and quite impact-resistant as well. The pocket clip can work both ways, but has a very thin point at which it breaks easily. The pocket clip also habitually comes loose, though it does not fall off.The switch is the worst problem with this flashlight. While the flashlight often works brightly and steadily, it also flickers very easily. The slightest touch of the switch causes it to flicker unpredictably, sometimes getting dim and sometimes going to the next mode as expected. I got a new flashlight due to the flickering issues with the old one and after a bit of use, the same issues are showing up in the new one.The flashlight remembers the last mode it was used in. If you like the flashlight to start up in bright mode, you have to cycle through the five modes (Hi, Med, Lo, Strobe, SOS) until SOS, then turn it off. This can be a hassle. The medium and low modes produce a high-frequency whine from the controller circuits when running. It appears that the flashlight uses a voltage reduction circuit to produce the medium and low modes as opposed to an oscillator. The LED module itself, while covered with heat-conducting goo, is only attached around the edges. The large LED module, probably meant to contain a heat sink, is almost empty except for two wires, making its large size pointless. Due to the lack of a heat sink, using the LED on high for an extended period of time will probably lead to overheating. Use low mode whenever possible. In conclusion, there are far better flashlights on the market for this price.
