Quality product.
I installed these on my 2001 Toyota Tacoma 4x4 Double Cab and they fit perfectly. I replaced a very expensive set of %con reservoir coilovers and I like these better. Back to the basics and I couldn't be happier. Especially the price. I ordered the rear shocks from the manufacturers website because I couldn't find them on Amazon. Front coilovers and rear shocks for well under $1000 bucks. Can't beat that anywhere!

the item was good and would of been perfect for us but i ordered the wrong ones for my tacoma. These are a great option for your tacoma just make sure you get the correct ones.

A BRAND-NAME dosn't make the product better!
I ordered a set of these on eB cus Amazon wouldn't send to HI (cheaper on eB @ $450) I also purchased a leveling spacer of .05 for the drivers-side of my 99 4runner as the set contains 2 identical units. Toyota owners know the OEM drivers-side units have a heavier spring to compensate for uneven front-end weight distribution. If you don't do the spacer, you'll have the drivers-side coil adjusted higher for the added "droop" from the uneven front end weight. So... this is by far the best configuration for a threaded-body shock on the market at a fair price, I couldn't build a set any less expensive, but close. It's a large threaded aluminum body unit that rides great and a decent spring. The top bushing is not a fancy CNC piece but every bit as good as your OEM bushing and that will take a brutal beating. The ONLY issue is that the 1 supplied spanner wrench fits the locking collar properly but it's small for the larger adjusting collar although it will still function. Don't let this "name" and price fool you. Your actually being fooled by paying at least twice the price for those "name-brands"! This unit performs as good as any of those and it quite possibility could be the same manufacture as some. And, unless you're on a competition track or "jumping" you're vehicle, you DON'T EVER need a reservoir shock except to look cool and impress your friends. As for springs, well a spring is a spring is a spring... they're all manufactured the same...wire diameter & length of wire, a few specific choices of material and # of coils, otherwise, the same, and again, this unit rides as good as most "lifting shocks" so expect a slightly firmer ride but never harsh. If your looking for performance and not "curb appeal" ( and they are appealing as well)... it's going to be difficult to beat these unless you build your own. If you want more for less, well go buy a set of Afco AFC13 series shocks ($199 ea), OME 881's ($179 pr) and assemble your own...this will out perform anything you can throw $1000 away at for sure. I'm running these FP shocks with a set of "JBA Off-road" UCA's...again if you do your research, these USA DESIGNED and MANUFACTURED UCA's are probably the best on the market and, for under $500...they utilize the superior "tapered ball joint" capable of 90 deg articulation... none of that BS "uni-ball" junk which is actually just a heim joint bearing that has no reason of ever being in a UCA...if your running these well, as they say: there's one born every minute...so sorry. If your seriously looking for off-road performance and a lift 3" and under, this is one of the best choices out there.
