Tried these, as Genuine Brita now expensive, but as the saying goes "you get what you pay for". Limescale in kettle now starts after 10 days, When using Brita it was around three weeks. So do the math, and make your choice.

AquaHouse Universal filter.
Does what it describes on Amazon. Have used one now in a Brita filter. Easier to follow these instructions before being ready to use. Leave in water for 15 mins , so simple, no having to do anything else. These filters work out cheaper for what I want to use the water for. 90th

Do not filter well
These filters have an open top section . you can see filter material. I am in a hard water area and the filters only work for a week before residue and limescale builds up my in kettle . (followed instructions) Have to change every week ! All previous filters last around a month . Waste of money , will not be purchasing these again.

Get what you pay for
Poor quality. Very low flow rate and one blocked completely half way through life. Very difficult to remove once fitted for a time as the pull tab has no grip.
