Ideal is top notch
These dudes just get it. My last pair of dykes were ideal and lasted me 6 years of hard, everyday usage until they were lost. Mostly to cut mc cable, but also have cut thousands of screws and even some 1/4 20 machine screws. I've blown them up twice and the nick in the cutters are a tenth the size of what happens with most other brands. I personally dont know why these arent the "go to" brand for all electrician's hand tools. Absolutely perfect ergonomically. Ive had the new pair a couple of months and they are still making them out of the same high grade materials.

Meh
The ones I got don't look like the picture and have a weird piece of metal sticking out of the grip. I guess they'll snip small wires ok. Fit in a pocket ok. Got em on sale so I really can't complain too much.

Quality is great
Bought these instead of Klein and was not disappointed. They work very well.

The price says it all. You get what you pay for here folks.
Alright. They have a good cutting edge but the steel isn't the quality of Klein or Knipex. The little extra length of the handles create good leverage when cutting but the molded grips slide off! I do like Ideal. They are good for the price but if you're a tradesman I'd suggest something of better quality. If you're just tinkering then there perfect for the price.
