This is a great idea in cat toys for those of us looking for toys free of any parts that can come off and be swallowed by animals! I do know that some people are opposed to pet toys made of real fur, but fur is the only thing my cats will go for . This is made of rabbit and cats would indeed hunt rabbit out in the wild, we can not change nature and cats and dogs will not hunt faux fur animals if given the choice. PLUS, bear in mind that people do eat rabbit as a meat. It would be a true shame if they were to take the fur and waste it by tossing it out. My only critique of this product is that not all of my cats are fond of catnip. I would prefer this if that were offered as a choice rather than the only option.

our cats sure like it. Not sure what else to say about a fuzzy cat chew toy...ummm. Well, it's real fur (hard on the rabbit, but I prefer to give the kids stuff closer to their natural prey rather than woven stuff that could be problematic when it breaks down).

I could smell the nip as soon as I opened the packaging. It's good stuff. We have two cats, and they've both reacted to this toy the same way, rubbing their faces all over it and licking it until it's soaked.I couldn't find my package when it first arrvied, and emailed the seller. Their reply was fast and friendly.EDIT: A year and a half and two more kittens later, this is still a crowd favorite.

My cat, Jack, is a major hunter, and although I'm never one for fur in my life, I try to buy him real fur toys as they are his favorite. These toy's fur come from the rabbit food trade (not the fur trade) so I find what comfort I can there. That being said, both my fur loving and catnip loving cats love love love this toy! I like that it doesn't have any plastic on the inside or other parts that could potentially be dangerous. It's soft and filled with catnip. I highly recommend it!

We have 4 cats and I bought this primarily for our youngest (an 8 month old male with very high energy) and he loooves this thing! I'm just glad we bought the pack of 3 smaller ones as well because two of our other cats tried to steal it from him when we gave it to him! There was lots of small growls of possessiveness over their new "prey" but once they each had one they all went to their special lairs and we had peace for the next two hours!

I can't see how a cat toy justifies killing a rabbit. Couldn't this be made with something else and achieve the same purpose? Rabbits are just as smart as cats, not sure why it's considered fine to kill one, just to briefly amuse the other.

I bought this with the fur balls and my cat loved this as well! The toys is long and had fabric on one side and soft fur on the other. My cat loves to hold it while chewing on a corner and bunny kicking the other end. This toy is worth every penny! If your cat likes catnip or fur then try this.
