Great deal for the money. The spool seems to be a little unstable. Not sure if I can add a washer or two that can help solidify that.

With 2 seasons fishing this reel I can say it checks every box you can think of, smooth,easy casting,durable, and best of all it just plain works!

I have two of these reals and they're mounted on 13ft surf rod that I purchase over sea's. The reels are great for long cast and reels in cat fish with little effort. A higher gear ratio would be nice.

Fair product, was not impressed. Does function ok. Just ok.

This is a very good reel, the only problem that I have I use it for catfish fishing and I drift for them, the spool is rather small for 30 lb line.

I had the okuma product and liked it but the handle kept folding in on itself. The handle is better on this one but the baitfeeder doesn't work as well. All in all not bad for the money.Lowered to 3 stars. Did not hold up as well as the Okuma. Between that and the bait feeder not working as well I went back to Okuma.The Okuma handles have been improved a bit.
