I like it!
Looking to upgrade from a smaller light I happened upon the OPT-7 C2 series light bar and decided it was for me. Upon receiving the light bar I did notice that there were no instructions included. This wasn't rocket science so I plunged into the install with great anticipation. The bar is simple to install until it came to the wiring. I did not order the wiring kit due to the fact I was replacing older lights. My present harness works just fine so why string wire twice. The light comes with a weather proof pigtail on the light wire itself plus a mate that you can put together to complete the task. Well, without knowing which lead in the pigtail was hot and which was ground leaves you in a dilemma. One shot, fifty fifty chance of being right or wrong. This is why I only give it 4 stars. A set of instructions would have been nice so it would be done correct the first time. They do offer live chat for help so I decided to see what they could help. Big mistake. I am willing to bet that the help was located in India. She could not understand the simple question of which pigtail prong was + and which was -. After almost an hour of trying to explain it to her I gave up and called it a night. Today I bought a simple weather proof connection, cut off the original pigtail and wired it together in 10 minutes. The light is bright. WOW. As of now I am totally satisfied. I am heading out this weekend to see how well it preforms in real life. Should I change my mind, I will update this. 4 stars for no instructions and terrible chat customer service.Update: wow, this light is awesome. It literally lights up the night. I can only imagine how bright the larger light bars are. If you are looking for a mid size LED light bar, this one is for you.

Looking For The Best at The Best Price?
If you are buying a new vehicle and only want to install the best kit--then you're probably considering companies like Rigid Industries and Vision X for your high-end LED light bar needs, and rightfully so. Vision invented the LED light bar concept that has become so popular in recent years and Rigid has all but perfected it. So if you're only looking for the best...then deal done, right--not so fast! Unless you have a blank-check approach to your build, then cost is a consideration as well, and offerings from Rigid and Vision carry very steep price tags. After searching the country and not finding exactly what I was looking for, I recently decided to pick up a new F350 and build it up. Wanted to do it right, keeping clean lines and balance. Only want to fit the very best for this build. So after much research (I'm the kind of guy that will research a toaster for weeks), I came across these OPT7 offerings. True Cree LED, quality solid 6061 aluminum build, high-lumen output--very nice. But how would they look and function in person? So I bought the spectrum--Mictuning, OPT7 and Rigid. First and third were as expected; Mictuning has tempered glass, poor build quality and average light. Rigid is--Rigid--awesome. OPT7 suprised--Rigid-level quality, look and feel, awesome light output--wow.A comparable Vision Xmitter front-bumper set-up on an F350 will set you back ~$1100. Rigid Industries E-series ~$760 with mount. Buy the $60 Rigid mount and a 22" OPT7 spot/flood combo and you spent $185. If the light somehow fails you can buy 4 more OPT7 bars as backups before you've spent as much as one comparable entry-level Rigid bar! See pictures to visualize just how great the OPT7 bar fits the bill. Truck has RECON LED all around, and will have several Rigid Dually's as well, but for my LED bar needs, it'll be OPT7 all the way (front, rear and side mounts to come). Saved enough on one bar by going with OPT7 over Rigid, to pay for a top-line stainless MagnaFlow exhaust system--that's no-joke savings. Make sure to spring for the C2 version...this is the series that truly holds it own.

This lightbar is constructed well and has a great light output and beam
This lightbar is constructed well and has a great light output and beam. However my light bar began to old condensation after the second rain it was exposed to and does not always evaporate completely. Notice how I said completely, the advertised "vent" does seam to be doing it's job to an extent. I would like to see a watertight unit but for the price I think it is a good buy.

Great bang for the buck.
I purchased the OPT7 22" led light bar about 3 months ago and wanted to wait just a little while longer before posting what I thought of it. For anyone thinking of getting one, it is well worth the money. I chose to give it 5 stars because although the leds are small, they still put out some nice lighting. It seems to be a nice piece. We've been having some rain lately and no issues with water penetrating the unit. Now I know that there are some other brands out there that are nicer, but for the price you're not going to beat it. I have a set of spots of the leading brand and they are nice, but I'm not trying spend $900 for their 22" when I could get this one for under $140. I was very skeptical in the beginning. But after checking out videos on you tube and reading reviews, I took a chance on this one and was glad I did. I will be ordering other products soon.

Game Changing Value / Quality for the Money!
A few years ago I built a Jeep Wrangler and had it equipped with over $2,000 worth of Rigid brand LED lights. Back then it was a matter of you get what you pay for and if you wanted quality you with with Rigid. Nowadays the market is flooded with LED lighting options and the quality of other brands has come up quite a bit. But these OPT7 lights are in every way comparable to the Rigid lights that I spent so much money on in the past. Excellent build quality, polycarbonate lens, super bright Cree LED emitters, excellent packaging, good tech support on their web site, and it just looks great in the front bumper of my RAM 2500 Cummins diesel truck. I am very pleased with this purchase and will be back to OPT7 again as I need more lighting. No more Rigid for me!
