Awesome lighter.. looks good.. well made.. one snag!.... this lighter only lasts approx 36hrs on one charge, so not so great for the outdoors experience.. it's more of a city slicker kind of thing.. Note!... if going to use for outdoors experience its best if you don't buy a camouflage design coz if you drop it or misplace it, it will be very hard to find amongst the foliage..

Battery is woeful, charger connection too. Within a couple of months, becomes extremely difficult to charge unless you can put some weight on it in the right direction which makes it absolutely useless as a lighter that could be used on the road, and easily charged from a power pack, as it's just too fragile, plastic, rubbish. Same cables are charging all my other devices, so just this rubbish.

Within 24 hours of purchasing this product the charge time went down to less than 20 minutes and it lost all charge overnight, not what I expect from a product named 'Explorer'.I provided feedback to the seller but no contact has been made so I advise against the purchase of this item.

I know we're supposed to get away from electronic gadgets out in the woods but this thing is amazing. LOL it is awesome for lighting up alcohol stoves. It's also nice to catch a small tender bundle a light. Because of how much photography I do while I'm out there, I have a couple solar panels and I plug this thing into and it's never run down. That lasts a long time on one charge and it doesn't take long to recharge it.

I use a zippo lighter.Got this as a spare as the zippo just stops lighting without warning. It looks good always lights first time and has never let me down.It doesn't matter how strong the wind is this will light my smoke no probs.recommended.

I really like this lighter, but after only a couple months of use the charging port has become really frustrating to use, if I can get the cable held at the right angle it will charge, otherwise it stops. This really needs to be improved as the lighter itself when charged has never given me a problem. Probably a bad solder, got 1 lighter 2 years ago for christmas and when the charging port completely gave out I hoped a replacement could last as long, sadly this is pretty poor and I'll end up breaking the lighter if I keep seeing the blue light flashing on and off as it fails to charge.

Works really easily. Feels strong when you use it. I chose orange as my husband would be less likely to lose it as it should show up well.

Not as many ignitions per charge as advertised (50 vs 500). Don’t get this item wet it shorted out and the arc would not switch off. The noise it makes when arcing upsets young children I assume because of the frequency as I couldn’t really hear much.
