This Item may be good for small to medium dogs and Cats However i do not recommend it for LARGE BREED Dogs Huskies, Malamutes, Danes, Rottweilers, ETC. The unit is vastly underpowered for LARGE DOG NAILS and the Grinders supplied do not work well on the Larger dogs. The supplied Grinder is not coarse enough. I won't totally reject it, if you have a few hrs to spend on each PAW then go for it, and yes I did Inspect and Change the Grinder head accordingly.

Love this product! My dog hates getting her nails trimmed and is difficult to manage. I’ve been using this grinder to get her nails under control for a couple weeks and each time she is much calmer when using. This last time she just sat still and let me trim away! It’s also much quieter than ones I’ve used in the past.. and I’ve tried quite a few different ones. Very happy with this purchase, would definitely recommend.

Very convenient and easy to use! Did not even need to read the manual and it is basically a nail grinder. Has a usb charger and additional grinding wheel. Very user friendly and my dog used to hate me cuting his nail. Now he has no problem with it!

I've been using this in combination with the clipper that came with it, and the two have made a pretty great combo. So much so, that when I took the pup to a groomer a week after trimming her nails, they commented that her nails already looked perfect and didn't require much maintenance. From a utility standpoint, it's as good a tool as you could hope for for home use.As for your dog's level of comfort with the tool, I've tried to get her accustomed to the practice but it just freaks her out, even after sessions where we didn't even file her nails down but just had it on near her and fed her treats every few seconds just to get a positive association. She never really warmed up to the buzzing sound it makes, but she's an anxious dog so that plays a big part. All that means is that we have to get her to lie down and then hold her in place as we trim her nails. Once the process starts she stays still and waits for her treat reward at the end.

Bought it before Christmas and arrived as a gift. The grinder is powerful with a 'Turbo' option which let it reach its maximus grinding speed. There is an alternative head to be replaced later which is very user friendly. One thing you might need to pay attention is when the battery light is on with the other 2 upper lights, it means full battery; only when only the battery light is shining without the other light that's when you need to recharge. Overall it's a good product to have!
