Oversized Zero Gravity Chair Recliner with Foot Cushion, Support 400lbs 6'' Wider, Outdoor Patio Lawn Chair with Cup Holder and Headrest

First of all, it was received 2 days ahead of schedule...gotta' love that. I bought this for my boyfriend to use because we bought very uncomfortable sofas online without testing them first and he often ends up on the floor instead. The sofas are relatively new and in perfect shape so spending $3,000 or more to replace them isn't something we want to do just yet. That's where the zero gravity chair comes in. I got it for his 70th birthday because it's getting more difficult to get up off the floor and it's too hard on his back and shoulders. This chair is extremely comfortable for him. He found that he doesn't shift around trying to relieve pressure points, because there aren't any! Although he's only 5'10" and not very heavy, I got the bigger chair for the width. I didn't want the arms hitting his hips. It turns out this chair is so wide that he puts pillows alongside the arms for his elbows to rest on. He also puts a pillow under his feet so they aren't hitting the hard bar. With that arrangement, he could probably sleep better in the chair than he does in the bed. For me (at 5'4"), it's too big to recline easily, but once I get reclined, it feels wonderful. The side table has slots for everything...drinks, cell phone, remote...even an ipad. If you're short like me, get a regular size chair. But if you want more room and what appears to be an extremely sturdy (yet light enough for me to carry) chair, this is most likely the one you want. I also like that it's black instead of brightly colored.

Great chair! EXTREMELY comfortable! We bought this chair because it is oversized.....my husband is thin but 6’3” tall and most chairs like this are too short for him to sit in comfortably. He loves it! I’m only 5’9” but also find the chair to be really comfy. Very solid & sturdy and the extra width allows plenty of room for a person and a pillow or two ..... Or you can share with a child or a big dog. Lots of options for super comfortable relaxing. The chair seems well made and folds up easily. We also find the detachable tray is perfect for holding a couple of drinks along with cell phone, iPad, book, magazines etc. We liked the chair so much we just ordered three more to have four to put by our pool. Can’t beat the price either!

Each paragraph is my 3 staged experience. The bottom is my first. The middle second. The top my third.I received the replacement chair and it came broken. I opened the box and the end of the right armrest was busted and around 3” of the end of it was broken off and gone. It had to be broken before it even shipped, because the broke off piece was nowhere in the package. I have once again emailed the company, and they don’t seem nearly as eager to reply. First they jumped all over it and sent me another chair. Now I report that it’s broken and they haven’t gotten back to me. Stay tuned for chapter 4.I emailed customer service and they were extremely nice and apologetic. They assured me this chair had to have a flaw because these chairs just don’t to this. I sent pics upon request of the chair and the piece that broke. They didn’t ask anymore questions, and sent out a replacement for me today. Having read all the other reviews and hearing their confidence, I’m sure I was the “one in a million” to get a bad chair. Before this incident I loved it. I expect that to be the case with the new chair also. I’ll update once I get the new one. Very impressive customer service.I’ll say this, it was my favorite, most comfortable chair ever....for 12 hours. I’m 6’4” tall and weigh 380. I got this chair because of the issues all of us big men have. I’ve broken stuff, it’s not comfortable, not wide enough, not made long enough for tall people Etc. Etc. I got it in and made sure I knew how to work it. Loved it! Stuck it in the storage room. Yesterday we grilled and hung out outside for a couple of hours and I spent a solid hour in it. Bragged on it to my wife. Most comfortable, best fit I’ve ever had in a chair. Couldn’t wait until this evening. Got in it with a book, sat there 10 mins, and that something popped and down I went. I have back trouble, so slamming my upper back into the ground wasn’t any fun. We also have an 8 week old yorkie pup that weighs 2lbs and I was about 3” from killing him. I’m not sure which part broke, but it lays all the way back now. It resists laying back, but with the pressure of one hand it’ll make a popping noise and go almost to the ground. With any weight it at all it’s dumping over again. There a chunk of plastic that broke off from somewhere, but l can’t tell where. This think has about 70 mins in it from a 380lb man. Fortunately I didn’t kill my dog, and I was in the grass. A couple of trips to the chiropractor and I’ll be fine. Just EXTREMELY disappointed.

I bought this chair for my husband last April and he loved it. It's a solidly made product- good size for his height and build and took the pressure off his lower back. He got a lot of use out of it over the past year, but right around the one year mark, the bungee cords holding it together started fraying almost all the way through at major stress points and he's leery of using it, for fear of the cords snapping and him falling through. Do you sell the right replacement bungee cords for this chair? Or can you point him towards a safe replacement? There's nothing wrong with the frame and the webbing itself is still in decent shape. He'd hate to have to give his favorite chair up.
