25 707 03-S Module Conversion Kt Replaces 24 584 52-S, 24 584 63-S, 24 584 89-S

Was having problems with my engine backfiring and not running right this aOME part. It is it complete kit for doing the service bulletin on big twin Kohler comes with new wiring harness and all instructions needed for repair. Shipper very friendly easy to talk to very knowledgeable of their products. Can't beat their service thanks so much

Sort of on the pricey side for what it is, but mice crawled into my kohler 27hp engine and ate the wires off the old part. I couldn't find the original part because kohler apparently realized the original stinks and typically dies around the 300hr mark. So you have to do a tiny bit of rewiring, but anyone who can get to the part can certainly handle the replacement. Vendor was good, original kohler part and not a knock off. Becareful out there, there are a ton of cheap fakes out there on Amazon and this was not one of them.

A quick Google search will show you that Kohler dropped the ball and left us consumers to foot the bill for a known defect in their design. This is not fault of the seller here though and the parts were genuine with easy to follow instructions, including pictures. I was back up and running on both cylinders in a matter of minutes.

With our trade practices in the USA we have made the buying of parts cheaper but they are not better or do not function like the originals.I have thrown away many over the last 20 years from different suppliers. I have seen and used poor replacement parts in the Electrical and Mechanical repair .Being 70 years old I have realized that our Companies can not compete with junk parts.When we buy we should be buying from the Companies that make the Items and replacement parts.I could tell you being in the Auto repair and Heating and Airconditioning service business that cheap will cause problems.These coils I bought work fine.If I have to do the repair twice I loose.

Worked great for our Toro Titan ZX6030 Courage Twin Pro 27hp SV840-0016 Kohler engine! This kit was extremely easy to install and our mower runs as good as new or possibly better. The old coils that came off our motor were numbered 24-584-63.

Does not look anything like the original. My V-Twin had modules with a 3 prong connector. This has one tab and 1 wire. Instructions were well written and the conversion was a piece of cake. You will need a crimp tool and flat feeler gauge for the install, along with a socket wrench. Pretty standard tools for a handy person attempting this repair.

Easy enough to install, had me back up and running in no time. Be mindful of the torque specs for the bolts... they were a bit buried in the instructions, and they are in inch-pounds. To gap the new coils against the flywheel, I used a business card - works perfectly.

Perfect fit for my old craftsman riding mower.
