Fits John Deere LA -135 yard tractor
If I can change my lawn tractor oil, YOU CAN DO IT, TOO!This model has a drain plug on the opposite side of the filter. It takes 2qt of 10W30 oil. Put in 3/4 of the oil and run the engine for a few minutes to let it circulate into the new filter. Then finish putting the rest in. Believe me, if I can do it, you can.

I use this filter for my Ford Escape 2013 because I have never had a problem with this brand. I tend to go with products I can depend on and this is one of them.

POOR Packaging for Shipment
Purolator is a great filter that I've relied on for years (after having cut open one of the brand I had been using and one of the Purolators to confirm what I'd seen in an online report).They do what they are supposed to do.But Amazon's "just as good as a box envelopes" are NOT just as good as a box. Several items have arrived either damaged or with damaged mfr package (making not suitable as a gift). The pair of filters I ordered arrived quickly -but with one box crushed a bit, and the other ripped -totally useless for protecting the filter from contamination. Return is fairly easy, but an avoidable inconvenience, waste of energy, packaging, product, etc. -contrary to the stated intent of the packaging.

Seems to work but packaging for ALL 3 Filters were previously opened
The oil filter seems to be working okay. Upon opening the outer packaging, the manufacture packaging for all three oil filters had been opened. It did not appear the filters were used. These were for a riding mower so not that concerned with this occurrence. It it had been for a car I would have promptly returned for full refund.

Make sure product is not dented or damaged.
Not proud of Amazon with this one. Gave it one star because although product arrived on time and as described, product had damaged box and dented filter. Could not afford to take the risk of ruining my engine with damaged and dented filter. Had to go out and buy another one. Waiting to see what Amazon has to say about that...
