it's really good for smaller animals. I got this to store my rabbits food and treats it holds up to 20 lb of rabbit food! It would probably hold less for a dog or a cat depending on the kibble size. You will always get dents in the tins though that's not really avoidable when you're getting it shipped. I was lucky that I didn't get any dents around the lid for the food bucket. The food bucket has a plastic sealer but the treats do not. I wouldn't put jerky treats or things that absolutely need to be sealed because of that. The scoop is 1/3 cup which is kind of small for most dogs cats but it works real well for rabbits. The bowl is too large for me to use. So I just used it to put my rabbits grooming supplies in. I got a matching compost bucket since I use my rabbit droppings and litter best fertilizer for my garden. It's a cute little set even if you just use it for decoration.

I purchase my dog food in 14 lb bags. One bag doesn't even fill this up. I would think it holds at least 17 lbs of dry food. There is plenty of room, yet it does't seem to take up much real estate on my kitchen counter. One thing that isn't mentioned in the item description is the size of the scoop. It holds less than 1/2 cup of dry dog food. It doesn't matter to me, because I have a 1/2 cup measure that I use, but if anybody is looking for that info, there it is. Overall, a nice looking set of canisters, and a really good price.

I am very happy with this set. The container holds our 14 lb bags of kibble and the treat box holds the large treat bones as well as the tiny training treats. We moved to a smaller house so we don’t have enough storage room to put them out of sight. They are attractive enough to put at the dog feeding station and the treat box fits nicely on the counter.

I was looking for an under the counter, able to fit into a narrow cupboard, container for my dogs. This was great! Not only did a scoop and a bowl come with it - but also a treat container which my dogs really appreciate because it reminded me to get some treats too. The food container does hold about 16# of dog food and seals nicely.

Product was dented, broken and scratched.

As some reviews noted, although my first order arrived dented and damaged, the canisters were obviously beautiful and functional. In reporting the damage, Silky Road provided wonderful customer service and conveniently replaced the canisters. We are definitely satisfied and would highly recommend the cansisters for fashion and function for storing pet food!

The handle on the lid of the large "Food" container broke off after 6 months of use. Otherwise, the enamelware seems sturdy and solid.

Is this worth nearly $40? No. Both the treats and the food containers arrived dented, and the handles on the food container are not sturdy. However, after a year of looking for a good container big enough to hold my dog's food that did not look like a garbage can, I'll keep it.You, however, should keep looking.
