OrtliebAdult's Pannier Bag Back-Roller Classic QL2.1 Pair

I bought these for cycling the camino de santiago in may 2019. I had looked at cheaper options with great reviews but knowing I was going to be doing long days with hard terrain, I wanted the peace of mind that all my clothes etc would be safe & dry. I needn't have worried. These are fantastic to use. the clip on & off the frame system works beautifully, so simple but very effective. even on rough terrain on fast descents, they stayed put. They come with clip in adaptors to match the frame size of your rack, so they will fit securely on a variety of different diameter frames, brilliant!. They are tough & 100% waterproof, the 1st day going over the pyrenees was in torrential rain, which lasted for 3 days, these never missed a beat & kept everything perfectly dry. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend these to anyone, well worth the extra money!

Highly recommended. Only had them a short time but using almost every day. Extremely durable and strong. Perfect capacity for my needs and role up to smaller size when required. Seem to be secure even over rough off road tracks. Will not hesitate to buy again. Have them matched with a Topeak super tourist dx rack that is also highly recommended. No issues with either of these products so far, impressive quality.Update Dec 2021 - still using these on a weekly bases, I've recently stripped them down to give them a good clean, can't believe I have had them this long, they are still waterproof and working perfectly.

you can really feel the quality, perfectly waterproof. I love the easy removal/fitting from the rack, ingenius to use the carrying handle to control the latching mechanism. really pleased to have invested in a good quality product that will last the test of time

Excellent quality- materials and construction appear very durable and closure very good- in line with wet bags for all water sports! Easy to adjust to fit carrier. Instructions easy to follow.

They arrived on time, were a fair price (cheaper than from high street stores!) I only gave them 4 stars are they were slightly marked on arrival, from them rattling around in the box the package was sent in, probably as there was no 'padding' in with them.Overall quite impressed with the product, they do what they're set out to do effectively, and so far seem quite waterproof. They're quite spacious too, I've have had various things in them from a weekends camping gear to the weekly shop! The quick release clips are quite handy, you just grap the handle, give a we tug and they come off the bike quick and easy!I'd reccomend them to folk looking for a well designed good quality pannier.

Extremely good panniers! I've had a pair before but they were on a bike that was stolen.Fully waterproof, sturdy and look nice to.

Great quality. Ease of mounting and even easier removal. Make sure your rack can hold the weight of both bags fully filled, mine tended to creak and sway once fully loaded.

Great bags , easy to pop on and off bike , strap works well. Haven't tried them for touring yet but look like they will be perfect.

These are not cheap, but they are fantastic!

2nd pair of Ortlieb panniers. However I find these ones fit a little looser than an older set I have.

Ein Paar ist bereits seit 2 Jahren für Einkäufe im Einsatz, jetzt kann der Einkauf mit weiteren Fahrradtaschen regensicher und heil nach Hause transportiert werden.Toll wäre noch eine Sicherung am Rad, damit man, egal wo man das Radel abstellt, nicht die Taschen mitschleppen muss.

Ich habe die Packtaschen für eine mehrtägige eMTB-Radtour gekauft. Montiert habe ich sie an einem Gepäckträger aus dem Zubehörhandel. Kein Problem, da Ortlieb Distanzclips für verschiedene Durchmesser des Gepäckträgerrohrs mitliefert. Die Taschen haben sich nicht nur bei den bisherigen Touren (aktuell 6600 km) als ausgesprochen praktikabel erwiesen, sie sind mittlerweile zu fast täglichen Begleitern geworden. Homeoffice sei Dank, nutze ich mein Auto nur noch wenig. Einkäufe erledige ich nun meist mit dem Fahrrad. Wenn es sich nicht gerade um sperrige Gegenstände, leisten die Ortlieb-Taschen auch hier beste Dienste. Fazit: ein aus meiner Sicht hervorragendes Produkt.

The actual product is high quality. However both times I got these, they were repackaged items, with boxes damaged, tags removed, spacers in ziplock bags (returned first one as parts appeared missing - later found rolling around the box and returned). I don’t really mind but if it were a gift, it would be more of a problem
