Sennheiser 508258 BT T100 Bluetooth Audio Transmitter for Hi-Fi or Home Entertainment Black

Simple to use, no nonsense Bluetooth transmitter with analog and optical inputs (note that analog and optical inputs can not be used at the same time). Pairing is simple and the signal is strong and clear. The analog input is for connection to the headphone output of audio devices and it works perfectly with my old iPod. Not sure how compatible this would be for use with a true line-out signal. Gives wireless functionality to older non-wireless devices. It has an aptx codec and works well with aptx and non-aptx receivers. Supplied with audio cables (analog and optical) and a USB charging cable.

Great product, it is not cheap but does the job very well easy to link to TV and headphones works seamlessly I would recommend

Excellant, great value, and well built. Connected to my Rotel pre-amp, paired with AKG K845 headphones. Very good clear quality sound. Extremely quit no hum or unwanted noise. For the price excellent, I am sure you could get better at 5 or 6 times the cost, or more. Would recomend to all who require a BT transmitter.

Great value for the perfect solution. Easy to set up and very good clear sound for me and the others in the room can have any volume they require.

Having tried and returned two previous models (different type) from two different suppliers for poor performance even though customer reviews were very good.I then picked the Sennheiser 508258 What a difference in performance and quality.Great stuff.

Not impressed with product, but seller was great.

I had a set of Jabra Elite wireless earbuds that originally worked with the device, but then as soon as you used those headphones with a different device, such as your phone, it stopped working and you could not re-connect them.I sent it back and was sent another device, and the exact same thing happened.during this time I also got a pair of Bose Wireless Headphones. these connected straight away, however there was no audio when connected. The headphones work with everything else I connect to so it must be an issue with the device.Absolute waste of money

I use this device to transmit audio from the optical output of my amplifier. When it works, it works well, but it isn't ery good at telling me when the audio it's receiving cannot be transmitted, e.g. because it's 5.1 or 7.1 rather than stereo. Ideally, it should intelligently pick centre and mix with left and right but it doesn't and its product description says it doesn't, but it does mean that not all of the programmes I watch come through the device. This means that more often than not I use the stereo analogue audio, which works OK, but I'd prefer the optical interface to be less picky about what it supports.
