Robot Coupe112203 R2 Food Processor Bowl

We had to order some replacement parts for our Robot Coupe and they worked perfectly!

It is exactly what we needed

I got this to replace the grey workbowl (with clear top) that comes standard with the Robot Coupe R2N. The grey workbowl warped after it went through the dishwasher with the dishwasher's drying cycle enabled. That's not a good feature for a commercial product. I'm guessing it was designed with the idea that commercial dishwashers have a short wash and rinse cycle, and no drying cycle. However, on to the clear bowl that I bought as a replacement: -- it fits easily into place on the R2N base. I like being able to see what's going on with the product I've got in the workbowl - e.g. 'Are all the bits of onion, celery, etc. uniformly minced or do I still have a few large chunks left?' The original bowl had a clear lid so you could look in from above, but couldn't see anything at the bottom of the bowl. The clear plastic is sturdy, although I'm not going to duplicate my mistake of putting it through the dishwasher drying cycle. The really nice thing about the workbowl is that unlike home food processors, the Robot Coupe workbowl is designed with an opening in the lid so you can easily add more material once the bowl is locked into place. You don't have to stop the machine and un-latch the lid to add more, like you do with Cuisinart and other home-use brands. I guess Robot Coupe thinks commercial kitchen staff are smart enough not to put their hand into the processor while it's running.

After years of abuse, my bowl finally gave out and it was time for a new one. This came a week earlier than expected and is working perfectly.

The item would not fit my food processor.
