The Essence of Jeet Kune Do Paperback – December 31, 2010

As a long-term practitioner in the martial arts with many years of experience in JKD, I can honestly say that this is one of the best JKD books in my library. Dave Carnell really understands the intricacies and the details of JKD and does a great job explaining the principles and concepts of Bruce Lee's art. Highly recommended.

this book was not realy what i was led to belive, it is ok and with colour photographs, but it is verry thin on information, i paid 7 pounds for this book that i deffinately would not pay again i would buy again but for nomore than 2 or 3 pounds only, as this book showed some strikes with a horizontal fist and bruce lee used and advocated useing a vertical fist and the bottom 3 knuckles when strikeing without hand protection such as gloves this information should have been included and photographs of fist strikeing techniques should have been more accurate.i can not recomend this book
