Fantastic hood!
I’m very pleased with this hood. I read dozens of reviews on this one and others and believe I got the best one for the price. It’s a quality hood and I like that it breaths well and has plenty of visibility. If you are searching for a nice hood this is the one! The inner helmet is a very nice feature and keeps the lense a comfortable distance from your face.

As good as i had hoped
Just used this for the first time. 150 lbs of sand. So much better than my old hood. No fogging. Plenty of ventilation. It was 32° out so can't speak for a warm to hot day. At just the wrong blasting angle some media would bounce off my chest & up under the hood, but i just held it closed with my free hand so no problem. You'd have to have a hood 4 feet long to avoid this. The construction style helmet held the hood in place quite nicely.

this will be unnecessary because there is a fine mesh screen that covers ...
This is an outstanding hood. After buying a cheaper hood that had a small viewing window, slid around my head, and fogged up constantly because there was absolutely no ventilation, this worked perfectly and is well made. I was concerned about buying it because there was no mention of where to buy a new viewing window. However, this will be unnecessary because there is a fine mesh screen that covers the clear window material. It prevents it from scratching by deflecting the sand yet still provides excellent viewing. Also, the screen/glass just slides out, so it would be easy enough to get some lexan at a local plastics store and made another window yourself if you needed to.

Don't bother to purchase
Bought this for a sandblasting my truck frame, it did work well until the helmet suspension broke in two places rendering the mask useless. The snaps kept coming undone in use making the view port move around in the opposite direction in which my head was turning making me stop in the middle of blasting to resecure the hood to the bucket. The suspension anchors are the cheapest and thinnest plastic, it was used but not abused and it lasted less than one (1) year of light use.So now I am again in the market for another blast hood, I will NOT be buying this item again, garbage. Save yourself and learn from my mistake.

Works good!
I bought to use when I wet sandblast metal. For the price point it’s great! I fine mesh screen over the glass works really good, also the 3 extra vent holes on the sides and back are a great 👍.Super fast shipping very happy with my purchase.

It good but not great
I was trying to use it under the car and sand kept getting inside my eye. It is not sealed very well. If you are using it outside with more space, it would work.

Can't beat it for the price
For the price I didn't expect much. However it works fine, I'd say excellent considering the price. Screen is great for protecting the lens which is still fine after hours of blasting. reasonable amount of ventilation, but in the right conditions it is going to fog up some. Makes a horrible job tolerable.
