Crystal clear sound, great interface, and plays mp3/FLAC from large memory cards. Perfect!
Summary: At long last, we have a crystal-clear Bluetooth FM transmitter that "just works." This gadget marries a ton of functionality with an exceptional user interface. I've been disappointed by other Bluetooth FM transmitters, but this device knocks it out the park with its sound quality, ease of use, reliable connectivity, and ability to play all common audio types from a microSD memory card.My wife is an ENT surgeon, which means that whenever I want a cool new set of wheels, she gets to pay for it. The good doctor always keeps me driving around town in the manner to which I have become accustomed, in the car I so richly deserve. That's why she has me set up in a 1993 Toyota Camry, a 26 year old automotive classic whose value and collectability is only enhanced by the foot-wide, ten-foot long scrape she put in the side of it while parking it once upon a time in Seattle.I feel so bad for those poor folks driving Teslas and Lamborghinis, cars without the charm, character, and sleek lines of my 1993 Toyota Camry. There's just one feature I envy on those classless late-model vehicles: their fantastic connectivity to phones and digital media. My classic Camry didn't come with Bluetooth. It doesn't even have an wired aux port. For years if I've wanted to listen to media played on my phone I've tolerated the constant hum and poor sound of a wired cassette adapter. No more! The VicTsing QC3.0 Bluetooth FM Transmitter plugs into your cigarette lighter and offers five useful functions:1) It receives music streamed via Bluetooth from a mobile phone or tablet, and broadcasts it to an unused radio frequency on your car stereo.2) It accepts a microSD memory card and will play music from it. It will also allow you to navigate a nested folder structure and choose songs of interest. (See "Suggestions" below for information about how to do this.)3) It has a high powered QC3.0 USB Quick Charge port and a lower-powered 1 amp USB port. You can continue to use your cigarette lighter to charge mobile devices in your car.4) It allows you to accept calls and enjoy hands-free conversation. The front of the device has a microphone to pick up your voice, and it transmit's the caller's audio through the car speakers.5) It reports the voltage coming from your car battery, both while the engine is started, and when it is standby. This is a very useful feature: you will know when your car battery is approaching the end of its life, and you can have it replaced before you get stranded. In the past, I've purchased a few other Bluetooth transmitters and have been keenly disappointed by them: the audio quality was poor and the user interface was confusing. This product finally gets it right.ADVANTAGES* Crystal-clear stereo audio. The sound that comes out of your radio is clean and full. There is no hiss or hum. The stereo is richly imaged. I simply cannot tell that I am streaming something over Bluetooth and broadcasting it to FM. It just sounds great.* Robust media-playing abilities from a microSD card, using an intuitive interface. This device can decode and play most common audio formats, including MP3, WMA, FLAC, AAC, and WAV. The inclusion of FLAC as a playable format is particularly nice for those of us who remember 1993, and have ripped our entire CD collections to this lossless format. Large microSD cards appear to be supported and folder navigation is supported -- see "suggestions", below. The firmware can handle music files of unusual length and size. I tested it on an .mp3 file that's a 10-hour mix of trance music from crystalclouds.com, and it had no difficulty playing this huge file.* High-powered QC3.0 USB port. There's nothing more annoying than a car charger that takes 8 hours to charge your phone, or worse yet, can't even keep up with the energy drain when the screen is on. This port is powerful enough to quickly charge large modern phones like my Samsung Galaxy Note 9 .*On/off switch. It isn't clear to me whether there is any risk of battery drain due to leaving this device plugged in. The screen is off when the car is off. Having an explicit on/off switch means that I don't have to worry about it one way or another.* Smart and intuitive design. There's a lot of thought that goes into making something "just work," and the designers of this gadget included all sorts of little touches to make its use as effortless as possible. For example, once you connect a phone to it via Bluetooth, it will automatically pair with that phone every time you step into the car. If you are listening to music using the microSD card reader and turn the car off in the middle of a song, when you turn the car back on the song will resume exactly where you left off. If you're listening to songs streamed via Bluetooth from your phone, the ">>" and "<<" buttons on the device automatically interoperate with your phone's music-playing software to allow you to repeat and skip tracks in the way you would expect. The device behaves the way you would logically want it to, and its interface acts in a consistent and expected way.SUGGESTIONS* For best audio quality, set the volume on the device to maximum as soon as you plug it in. To do this, click and hold the "forward >>" arrow key.* Use folders to organize media if you're using the SD card reader. This device DOES allow you to navigate folder structures but given the limited number of controls on the front, it isn't immediately obvious how to do this. To navigate to a particular music folder, you should *hold* the "M" key for a couple of seconds. A list of folders will appear. Use the arrow keys to choose a folder. Click the phone/call button at the device center to open the folder, and use the ">>" and "<<" keys to scroll down and up the list of songs. Choose a song to start playing by clicking on the phone/call button.* If you hear any hum or static whatseover, just set the device to broadcast to a different FM channel. Hit the "CH" button and choose a frequency that has no radio station in your locality. Set your FM radio to the same station, and boom, you're done. On some cars, I've noticed hum on some frequencies that disappears when you set the device to use an alternative radio frequency.* You may use a microSD card that's larger than 32GB if you wish. Contrary to the description, it appears like this device supports some microSD cards that exceed 32GB. I've tested it extensively using a Samsung 128GB 100MB/s (U3) MicroSD EVO Select Memory Card as well as a Samsung 64GB 100MB/s (U3) MicroSD EVO Select Memory Card and it worked fine.* Consider the location of the cigarette lighter port in your car before buying: cigarette lighter placement may make this device less useful and usable to you, especially if you intend to play a lot of music from a MicroSD card and need convenient access to the pushbutton controls on the device. In my 1993 Camry, the cigarette lighter is square in the center of the dashboard, and the controls on this gadget are very easy to reach. I liked the VicTsing Bluetooth FM Transmitter so much that I bought a second one for my wife's almost-as-awesome 2005 Toyota Prius. On her car, the cigarette lighter is low on the passenger side. It is still usable, but the driver must reach quite far to access the controls, and the screen is definitely harder to read. Consider your needs and use case. if you're primarily streaming audio from your phone, or listening to albums of music without skipping songs, this will not be a problem for you.note: I was *not* solicited to write this review, and I bought this product with my own money. I received no compensation for this review and indeed I have no idea who the seller might be. I pride myself on writing unbiased reviews.

Great Chriatmas gift!
I got this as a Christmas gift for my boyfriend. He has a 2006 Ford Escape which doesn't have aux capability. He was using a transmitter that he had to charge and plugged directly into the phone which became a hassle when he got an iPhone 8 and there was no headphone jack. He has two cigarette lighters and this did not fit in one of them but it fit in the other. I noticed that the higher the radio station, the fuzzier the sound got. For better sound, it's probably better to stick to lower radio stations. I like that it has charging ports since it takes up the cigarette lighter. I like that you can take calls on this. You just have to press the phone button on the actual transmitter instead of answering on your phone. The sound on this thing is great.

Perfect
Works perfectly. No static during playback at all. I set my receiving radio station to the low end, which not many channels use (Station 80-90). Easily use controls, large enough to use for skipping a song and what not. It is a little more than the others I saw after ordering this, but I can't complain since it works as well as it does. I would imagine the other brands do too but I have no experience.

First hour and I am impressed.
1-23-19 Samsung S8 phone: This is the starting point of my review: I have only had this hooked up in my 09 Hummer H3 for a few hours. So far I am very happy. I set this up in 1 min and used my Amazon Prime Music account to play songs from phone to radio. I used the preset 87.7 as my starting point as this channel in Houston TX is not used. The sound is very clear and the monsoon amp has crisp bass. I called my wife from the driveway and she said the sound was better than our blue tooth on our new jeep. She was able to hear me without me yelling and I could hear her just fine. I listen to old rock and 90's grunge along with some 80's rap. All played clear and crisp with plenty of bass. It is a bit cheap feeling but that is expected for the price point. My H3 has 2 outlets to utilize so charging will not be an issue but will try it to update everyone. It is very early to see how this will function as time passes but will update as I see issues etc. The one thing that I do not really like is that this DOES NOT HOLD ITS POSITION. You can move it around but it will go right back to the original position. At this point I would say buy it if you are looking to play music off your blue tooth device. You still have to make outgoing calls with your phone but can answer phones using the devices phone button. My outlet is located by the gear shift so it is not very close to me for phone calls but like I mentioned my wife said she could hear me just fine. I will update in 30 days after I use the thumb drive, charging port and SD card.

No one can hear me clearly
It works fine for playing music on my car radio. However, everyone I call says I sound like I’m about a mile away from the phone. I have to either shout, or just turn it off and use my phone which defeats the purpose of buying it. Wish there was a better mic, then it would be a good product. Because I cannot use it for business calls at all, I cannot recommend it.

Was hoping for a lot better at this price
It connects easily enough. It's not as loud as you would think. Distortion is lousy. Worst part about this device is the speaker phone and that's what I bought it for. If your lighter is down in front of the shifter good luck on people hearing you speak consistently without shouting. I'm not impressed with this unit at all. So many other cheaper devices that produce this quality.
