Great activity for kids really liked this. Lots of picture options

Great little activity toy for my two and a half year old granddaughter who loved it. The plastic framework for the pegs does have a bit of give in it so does need to be looked after, as possibly if a young child were to stand on it it would probably break. Having said that though I think it’s good value for money and well worth buying.

Bought this as a present for 2 year old grandson, but haven’t given it to him yet but I’m sure he’ll love it. Just right size pegs for little fingers and nice bright colours.

This toy is aimed at children over the age of 3 years as it contains smell bits that might cause a young child harm if put in mouth, eyes of ears.It comes in a colourful red box with 46 “buttons” and ten different design cards. The idea is that by placing the buttons in the pre drilled holes, the design of a house or a bird or a tree, an insect or an animal will be more attractive and little fingers acquire the skill of putting the button into the hole.The buttons are “mushroom” shaped – 1inch in diameter – just right for little fingers.The design cards are bright and colourful, the buttons are sturdy and would take a gentle wash if required.

It's a great activity for kids and they love the different colourful pictures and pegs.

Judging by some of the customer reviews on this page, the currently listed item (a Geekper 46 piece peg/'button nail' set) is not what has always been associated with this particular page link.My review is of a 46 piece 'button nail' peg board type toy, some other reviews refer to a 120 piece set that seems to have consisted of assorted play pieces.This isn't the best implementation I've seen of this type of colour matching and co-ordination toy. The idea is solid, the reality slightly disappointing. The quality of the set does not live up to the almost £30 RRP, although the current sales price of about a third of this is closer to the mark. The set is made almost entirely from plastic. It consists of a storage box with building platform integrated as the lid, a series of ten single-sided pattern cards, and 46 brightly coloured plastic 'button' pieces (44 coloured - 8 each of blue, yellow, green, and pink, 6 each of orange and purple; and one pair of eyes).On the plus side, the toy has integrated storage - so once out of the display packaging, all of the pieces can be stored inside the main tray. This is always a really useful trait, either for home or childminder/nursery/playgroup use. The basic pattern matching toy with a series of pattern cards and concept is good. The toy includes opportunities for colour matching, counting, hand-eye co-ordination, and discussion about the images portrayed on the pattern cards. Some of the colour matching is slightly unusual as where the colour button to be added to a pattern matches the background colour of the section, there's no coloured ring to indicate which colour button should be inserted; whilst a white outer and black inner ring, indicates an eye.However, the plastic this set is made from is quite thin. It doesn't feel like a particularly good quality toy. At the RRP, I'd expect this to be really solid, but instead it feels like a budget toy with thin, flexible pieces. The 'button nails' are quite large, and the patterns to be followed are quite simple. From the size of the pieces, and the level of fine motor control involved in sorting and placing them, I would have expected this to be aimed at toddlers (2+) rather than preschoolers, however this is CE marked as only safe for use with children of 3+. The name 'button nail' suggested that there might be a construction type hammering element (and tool for doing this) as part of the toy. There is none - a pity as a construction element would have added a nice extra dimension - instead the 'button nails' are pushed quite easily in to the board, and sit too loosely to be tapped.

This is a great toy for learning colours and creativity. It comes with different images to lay over the peg grid, like a fish, boat etc. The pegs are nice bright colours and my toddler likes pretending they’re little fruits and using them separately for pretend play and to learn counting.

This is a fantastic activity for my 2 year old to learn matching and colours. The buttons are a great size. Lots of different pictures for different challenges. Great toy

Mi peque tiene dos años y le gusta mucho. Son piezas grande que encajan bastante bien, los colores son vivos y los dibujos muy chulo. La verdad que es un buen regalo para un niño de entre dos y tres años de edad. Mejoran la motricidad fina y la coordinación oculo manual. Además puedes trabajar con las piezas para reforzar colores y formas. La verdad que por el precio me ha gustado mucho.
