Soft and actually hold up. My sons are often running to the car with their shoes in their hands so their socks get a lot of outside wear. While no socks are perfect, these have held up to some outside wear, certainly longer than most do.

Even though these socks are for boys, I bought them for my daughter. It is not easy to find just plain black socks for little girls that are not ridiculously priced or part of a larger pack of other colors that I didn't need. My daughter is 5 and wears a little kids size 12 shoe. The socks fit perfectly and are gender neutral.

My son has worn these socks for 3 years for school uniform, but he has discovered that he loves them for athletics as well. They are a great weight, not super thin, but thin rather than thick. He plays hockey, lacrosse and runs cross country, and they stay on his foot, wrinkle free without constricting and he has had no problems with blisters in any of his activities. They also dry quickly if he has gotten them wet. The only thing is that they do wear thin, but I believe that is because he is using them very roughly in addition to wearing them daily to school. Highly recommend!

I'm always looking for a 100% cotton socks, but they are hard to come by! Especially in a small size (i'm woman's size 5). These do OK, at 80%. I can still feel the plastic in them, so I wouldn't wear them on hot days or for sports, but for every day wear, they're fine.

These socks seem to be a good quality - thick but not too-thick, reinforced, and a nice dark navy. They stay up well on my son's ankles. Bought these for a 4-year old who wears a toddler size 10.5 shoe, and I got size 7-8 1/2. They are a tad too large (the heels don't line up with his actual heels), but this seems better than being too small, and they are definitely wearable, and he will grow into them. Before purchasing, I read a variety of reviews and comments where people describe what size they bought, and I think that's helpful to do.

These socks are tiny. I feel like I need to give them to my baby instead of my 3 year old. They don't go up nearly as high as pictured. I purchased the size 6 1/2 - 7 1/2 based on the fact that my son wears a size 9 US shoe. This was absolutely WAY to small. Also, the socks are not completely white, they have black writing on them. Would not purchase again.

We purchase size 7-8 1/2 for my 5 yr old who wears a size 11 shoe. They are thinner than other white crew socks, which was ideal for comfort with his school uniform shoes. They stay up and do not fall down his legs. Not sure about durability because we just got them, but so far they are the best I’ve found to go with his school uniform.

Really great quality! But a bit small. My son wears a size 13-1 and this size was a bit small around his ankles and lower legs and he's really thin with small legs. Would get a bigger size next time.
