New Tie Chain Gold Herringbone

I have been using these things for my ties since around 1990. They are better than pins, which put holes in your tie, and better than clips, which never stay horizontal. I like silver so I wear a silver one. I bought this gold one as a gift for our idiot president b/c I was so sick of seeing pictures of him with his tie over his shoulder (remember the one that showed he had taped the skinny side down?? Priceless). But I never sent it b/c I thought it would get me on a list, and I'm probably already on enough lists. At any rate, it's a great tie chain.

For me, this just doesn't work well. I have purchased several of these because at first, I thought it was something I was doing. But at this point, I just feel it's the design. This doesn't seem to stay on the button well and snags often. it's nice for the price but, after having my last two break, I've decided to look for a new brand; understanding I will probably have to more for it.

The last link in the chain that joins to the hanger seems less sturdy and refined than I would have liked. I owned 2 of these in silver and wanted a golden one. I find them nicer than traditional tie holders in that I don't have to adjust them through the day if they get crooked.One small draw back if you have small children is that I've dropped it a couple of times when picking up my daughter, but it's just about being careful.

I ordered this gold-colored herringbone tie chain when I could not find my old tie chain. That's fine, because the new one had a nice shine to it, like wearing real gold. This chain fits all sizes of ties, from wide to very wise, so that is a plus. Overall I recommend it heartily. Much better than making a hole in your tie for a tie tac, or wearing a tie clip that will fall off and be lost.

A great product. My husband has to dress up for his job. He is all about the tie chains. It is the finishing touch on a well dressed man. I am so happy with this purchase. Classy doesn't even begin to describe how nice this tie chain is. A terrific gift, and a real touch of class.

Took several weeks for them to arrive from China but covid was really taking off big at the time I ordered. I looked at several men's clothing stores and couldn't find any. I was happy I found them on Amazon!
