Cosmik Freeze Dried Ice Cream 6 Pack Strawberry Space Food

Dont like the cookie part on the original astronaut ice cream sandwichs?..then these are what you are looking for!..the van, mint and cookies and cream are good, the strawberry one needs a little work..tastes more like freeze dried yogurt instead..

We’ve tried the mint chocolate chip and it’s so good. Wanted to try strawberry since it’s my favorite of old school astronaut ice cream. This is terrible. Just inedible really. I can barely taste the strawberry but there’s this weird funky flavor like it’s rotten. Took like 2 bites and I’m throwing it all away.

It’s a tangy strawberry that’s not too sweet but tart, as the strawberry one really hits you compared to the cookies and cream. They are both a flavor for a different type of mood. Absolutely love. At first I was kind of weirded out by the texture but the way it Mets and the fun crunch is something you oddly and satisfyingly get addicted too. Absolutely love them! On the pricy side for the lot. But if you calculate It down per bar it’s not too above average in pricing!

I love that COSMIK offers an organic freeze-dried ice cream. The real fruit is great - my only complaint is that I found them to be a bit salty.

The flavor is not what I was expecting. Of course this needs to be taken into context that everyone has different expectations. So it is subjective. For me is tasted less strawberry and more medicine like. The kids still ate them but they’ll eat anything !

If you've ever reconstituted nonfat dry milk and tried to drink it, you are already channeling in your mind the majority of the flavor of this stuff. Combine that with citric acid, which they've added for some reason, along with an almost undetectable amount of cloying artificial strawberry flavor and you've made it all the way there. It isn't "creamy" in the slightest, and because of the aforementioned citric acid, it instead just fills your mouth with the impression of badly spoiled skim milk. Delectable.

We purchased this for a space-themed party, and it was a hit! This is a great gluten-free & soy-free alternative to another popular astronaut ice cream. Also, free from artificial flavors! We are a family with some food allergies, and this fit the bill!I was impressed with the taste - it was surprisingly creamy for freeze-dried food. It was a hit with kids and grownups alike at our party; only a few kids didn't prefer the freeze dried texture - preferences vary, of course.Additionally, I appreciated how well this was packaged. The ice cream blocks arrived intact and not broken.Overall, we recommend! It's worth trying. We'd purchase again.

I always buy a competitors product for stocking stuffers every year. It is hard to find strawberry flavor anywhere throughout the year, but they suddenly appear at Christmastime. So I decided to try this brand. BIG MISTAKE! They taste AWFUL! I wish I could take them back out of everyone's stockings and get a refund. Definitely won't be buying these again. Wasted my money!
