What is this Sorcery?
My brain still can’t fully comprehend that things like this exist... I saw someone in a review say something along the lines of “If you are looking at this item and thinking about getting it, don’t hesitate, just get it!” and I definitely agree, its worth whatever you are paying for it (wether you are buying it in the one or two pack (7.99 and 11.99 USD currently)). I also heard someone say that when she bumped her desk the toy would fall... I tested mine a bit and it turned out to be way more resilient than I would have thought. She must have a really unsteady table. Keep it on a flat surface and don't smack it around and you’ll be fine, lol. Side note... Epilepsy warning?

A little wobbly.
Not bad for the price, but it wobbles when spun. Spin too hard and it'll fall off. Good that it's made of plastic. Bought one for a friend, but feel I'll need to apologize for the wobbling.

I teach Mag Lev, so...
I plan to use a few of these to introduce the concept of mag lev and conversation of momentum. It spins a long time as there is little friction. It should pique some additional interest in the mag lev car challenge (see Kelvin Educational Mag Lev track). My hope is that it helps some of the 6th grade students start to understand that friction is what will slow down their car and apply it to their finished racer.

Works.. but wonky
Got 2 of these as gifts (for others) and only opened 1. It works okay and is cool in how it demonstrates the 'power' of magnetism.. the piece spins, but it's not balanced properly, so it spins erratically..bouncing around -- if well balanced, it should spin smoothly & evenly and for a long time..several minutes.Maybe can't expect too much for the low price (2 for $12), but still..you want cool things to work well! Maybe the 2nd one will spin more smoothly.. will update this review once I try it.

Suspense
It's just entertaining. People come by and are amazed at how it just levitates in the air. I had another one several years ago and someone dropped it and it cut off balance so I was happy to get a new one. Got the extra ones for son and grandsons. They've always been fascinated with it though.

So so
Easily comes off of base if you try to spin it faster. You have to spin it slow. Can't lightly bump it or it will come off the base easily too

They work.
They levitate, however its a look but dont touch gimmick. Still cool & fun to have on a desk.

Intriguing science toy.
I liked that it was a fun demonstration of a science principle.
