I am not a tea connoisseur. But, I think tea connoisseur would enjoy this tea. To me, the taste is complex and balanced. It's earthy without tasting raw, if that makes sense. It has a little of the ginger bite that I like. You get green tea flavor without the typical flatness of green tea. The caffeine level seems to be a little less than a black tea. I find it to be a more relaxing than invigorating.

I love this tea. I had the bagged version, but I felt like I was going through so many a day. This way I can make my tea as strong as I want and only need a strainer! It tastes amazing.
