Farberware Food Huggers Reusable Silicone Avocado Savers, Fresh Greens, Set of 2 -

Not as functional as you would think. The sizes are off for most avocados so it really doesn't seal well. Too many brown spots. I think I wasted my money on this.

I was so excited to get these after seeing demonstrations on television. I was feeling "green"! I waste a lot of food & plastic bags ~that go bad after cutting in half or whatever. This seemed to be the answer. Sadly, no. Even when you get a tight fit on an eggplant, avocado or onion the product does not keep the produce any better than a plastic bag or wrap. After just two days an onion dried out, 4 days an eggplant rotted and overnight the avacado was brown. The tiny one for the banana was the only one that seemed to work ~ at least 2 days. I'm glad I didn't buy several sets. Collossal waste of money and drawer space. These are headed to the local thrift shop.

I really wanted to like these, but I can’t seem to find avocados that can fit inside. Neither Whole Foods or Fairway Markets in the NYC area sell large enough avocados for even the smaller Hugger. They need a third smaller size...horrible execution of an otherwise intelligent product. Too bad....

These are too big for the avocados I have access to (Haas...) and do not keep cut avocados from turning brown.

Much to my dismay, I failed to purchase the giant avocados that this product is made for. Did not seal & avocado turned brown. Conspicuous consumerism , throw away itembecause I had to open packaging to find out.

I love my avocado's but not when they turn brown on the cut edge. This little handy hugger helps keep them fresh longer and I find the two sizes work great for large or medium to small avocado's. No more plastic wrap! Love these! Easy to wash, and dry.

I love this so much! I use it almost every day. I actually have never found a use for the larger one because most of the avocados I buy fit into the smaller one. But I also bought sets of these to give as Christmas gifts or five other people. And they love them as well! A great way to cut down on plastic use! Should be something I grab for years to come!

There are two sizes and I have not yet had that perfect avocado to fit. One is small and a close fit to most store bought, the other is very large.I would imagine if you had the perfect fit it would work better but you would need to take along the hugger to the market to confirm. There is still some browning since there is air in the pocket when the avocado is a little too small. But all in all it does work a little better than cling wrap.

These are a marvelous idea, but the little one is slightly too big for the small avocados they carry in the stores in northern British Columbia. I tend to like an egg with 1/2 an avocado for breakfast, and this does keep the 2nd half in better shape for next day use then the saran wrap I was using.

Have only used this product once - to try to reduce the amount of browning and waste of the avocado. I had also applied a quick splash of lemon juice prior to putting on this saver - still found it wanting - not really better than previous solutions but this is at least re-usable where saran wrap is not so much.

Están geniales aunque no me tardo mucho en consumir el aguacate, es muy útil, material bueno y mi aguacate no se oxida o se hace feo en el refri. Son mas largos que un aguacate hass en general pero que no quede perfecto en tamaño no le resta utilidad.

The delivery was quick and came the exact day that the seller promised. I liked the concept of not wasting saran wrap every time you want to save half of an avocado for later. But most of the avocados from where I live are medium to small sized so the large food hugger was pretty useless for me. But the small sized one was great, but it was a snug fit for 1 in every 5 times I used it. Every other time it wasn't a perfect fit and the avocado moved around a lot or it turned brown fairly quickly. But the is not the fault of the product but just vegetables in general. All in all I think it is a good product, but not something I would buy again.

Solo uso la chica la grande le queda demasioado grande para los aguacates que venden en méxico, es un poco complicado de poner y a veces me ensucio pero mantiene el aguacate fresco y casi no se oxida
