I purchased these with the idea of having something to last longer than the shelled nuts. However, once my husband tried these.... I've been hardput to put him off eating them all! We have managed to stretch it. (I've not had a one).He likes the distraction of shelling them as much as how fresh they taste.Anyway, as far as I can share...these were worth the price easily due to their freshness.Never forget that foods do go off over time...and when nuts have been harvested, how long they're in storage waiting to be purchased, as well as other factors -such as- how and where they were grown contribute to freshness and flavor over time. Look up when the desired food is harvested before sale to make better judgment as to whether to choose the item in mind.I hope this helps!

Just got these as little treats for my hamster for every now and again. Very big bag! Also brought a bag of their sunflower seeds, underestimated the weight off both of them so now I have a giant bag of sunflower seeds that will most likely last a lifetime, and some lovely walnuts. They are for my hamster but do have a cheeky nibble every now ajd again and these nuts taste so lovely! Nice little snack honestly.

Very nice walnuts, but I would prefer to buy European nuts in future. Finding them is the problem.

Ordered these walnuts early for Christmas. Sampled ten today and four were found to be rotten on opening and six tasted awful. Needless to say I will not be ordering any more online.

These nuts were not edible even the squirrels would not eat them. And they did not look like the ones I have purchased a number of time. Will not be buying again. Very disappointed

I’ve purchased these before and they were wonderful , I couldn’t fault. However, this time at least 50% shells had already opened at the seam or were cracked. Shells were very brittle and a fair few were bad. The 50% that were unaffected were very nice but this worked out very expensive

We have ordered these several times because they simply are excellent. Walnuts are not just for Christmas when you can get them from Amazon.

I was very disappointed with the walnuts. They are not fresh. Quite a few are rotten. I have ordered them before and they were lovely. These are old and tasteless
