We have two dogs that are almost 14 years old and both have some arthritis, so I'm cognizant of the types of beds they use. Usually, at night they both use the dog stairs and sleep on my bed with me - I can't blame them, my mattress is amazing. But during the day, they prefer dog beds in the main house where they can be involved in everything going on.This bed is enormous - my big Ridgebacks fit comfortably with room to spare and the Beagle mix fits in it twice. The raised sides are popular with all five dogs. They like the head support. The cover does come off for the laundry, but it can be tricky to put it back on smoothly with no wrinkles.My reason for the single star deduction is the foam itself. It's actually quite thin. My dogs were digging into the bed trying to make it more comfortable when I had it sitting directly on the tile floor. Once I put this bed on a giant soft pad, the digging stopped. I think after being in it directly on the floor, the foam compacts and the dog ends up feeling that hard tile underneath.

I must admit I bought this bed for me with no thought for my dog at all. I was tired of fighting to get covers off to wash. And worse, fighting to get them back on. This bed you just unzip on the bottom and peel off the cover. And it's easy to get back on if you remember to line it up properly. The fabric seems a bit on the flimsy side but so far has survived the washings and the zipper seems sturdy with no fraying so far. The sides were actually a bit high for my old Pug to get in easily so I took the memory foam pad from the expensive bed I had that fell apart and added it on top of the egg crate a foam and that seemed to work. Does she like it? Who knows? Like I said it was for me...not her.

This bed was the worst bed I have ever bought for my lab. The bed did not hold it's shape and is made out of very low quality foam which clearly does not hold it's shape. The "egg crate" foam did not hold up to literally a week of use and was paper thin which defeats the purpose of an orthopedic bed (I put 2" of foam bedding into it just to give it something). To say I am disappointed in this product is a complete understatement. It is not worth the money and my dog HATES it.

The walls on the mini isn’t high enough for my 2lb puppy, so I bought the small for her even though she fit better in the mini.

I was unsure when the package arrived on time and in a small box, squished up. Once open, I let it "settle" for a day and it lays flat. The walls are nice and high, perfect because my dogs love to snuggle in their beds. I like the way it has a full bottom cover with a zipper so my dogs can not get to the foam to tear it up. I ordered on, had my dogs check it out and then bought a second - so each dog has one. The dogs must feel it is comfortable because they sleep all night long in it. It is getting harder to find an over shaped dog bed with the opening in the front and and good quality stiff sides. This one is perfect.. Dog approved

Who would have thought that getting a dog bed would be such a pain. I have 4 different dog beds and a dog cot, trying to find something the dogs will like and use. Well, 2 of the beds got peed on, so obviously weren't in use. Sigh. One was ruined, but the other was washable. This one though, I've had BOTH of my labs trying to fit in it at the same time :D They really like this bed.

I agree with other reviewers. Order larger! I have two small 10 lb dogs so I ordered two small beds. They are a bit to small. They fit in good but can't stretch out very well. I gave 4 stars for comfort since no padding in bottom. Slightly push on it and it's the hard ground. It's like a cheap egg crate. So I made small pillows to fit in them to give lift and comfort. I would highly recommend but order larger and order a pad to fit in like a mattress. They are well made and seem to be pretty nice.

This is awesome a nice foam core, a well made cover, that zips off for easy laundering! YEAH! And then goes back on very easily... I am VERY pleased with this product and the affordable price, I've had many pet beds over 30+ years of having pets...this us the very best of this size and type if bed!

Disapointed for the price. Waited 2 months for it as it was out of stock after I purchased it. It arrived in huge oversized box... hello environment... and is quite cheap and flimsy. Not quality sturdy as what appears on picture.

My older dog loves this bed. In fact the younger one does too. They actually race to see who will get into it first. I think I have to buy another one.

I was unsure about the orthopaedic foam but the dog loves it. He rolls in there and likes to sleep with some of his toys.

Very good product. Two 4 months old morkies can fit in nicely. They can chew and destroy other cushions but not this one. Highly recommended.
