Modern Wall Sconce Lights 8W LED Room Wall Lights Up Down Aluminium Wall Lighting Lamps for Living Room Bedroom Corridor (Black-Warm Light)

This is a really cool accent light. The design it makes on the wall is even better than the pictures. The white is on the cooler side, about 3000k - 3200k and I would have preferred a warmer color but there was no light fixture alternative with a warmer light in this pattern. It is to be hardwired which my electrician had no issue putting these up. The base was slightly smaller than my existing hole in the wall (the fixture it was replacing) but the shell of the light fixture covers up the slight difference in size. The wiring is for European but my electrician understood it and was able to install it with no problem. I'm super excited with this light fixture. I had two installed on either side of my sofa and it adds a contemporary artistic element to the room. It's clearly not meant to light the room or serve as a task light in any way. It's an accent light which does a great job.

I installed this light sconce and it turned out very nice. The first time I installed it I used a dimmer. But after turning it on it just flickered and did not seem to work properly. So I replaced the dimmer with a regular light switch and it works as it should. I am using a generator to supply electric and this light is perfect. I would be nice to label this as non-dimmable and it would be great to have it in a dimmable version (if it is in a dimmable version I could not find it). Would recommend the light. Be sure to place it low enough to get the affect you are looking for. (DM)

Bought a dozen for a pool deck. Two failed within a month and another two a month later. It’s $20ea and fast shipping so I just ordered extras.Note as well if you’re installing them flush against a wall outdoors, the top will trap rainwater. Not a great design even though it’s waterproof, since this increases the chances of water penetrating. I drilled holes in the wood to let it run off.Still for the price I think it’s decent value. Just beware it will take more work and possibly needing spare units!

June 10, 2020 update. The LED's died. Now only emit a faint glow. The fixture had about 3,650 hours of use - well below the manufacturer's stated 50,000 hours of life.Old review: Interesting, well made [ceramic?] light. Some issues with installation. Need extra hand[s] - hard to install without help to hold the light in place while connecting wires. Very good light output. One quirk: the instructions do not mention which fixture wire is 'live'. With the help of a magnifying glass, I determined that the blue fixture wire is 'live' which I then connected to my black 'live' wall wire. It works.

I like that they put off light both directions and that they are LED. Also, the light hits the wall and throws lite about 3 feet up and 3 feet down against the wall mostly and it then reflects down the pathway. They are sleek and for the price, I could have not done better, as I needed something black and LED. They looked rather small when we got themexpecting a bigger metal piece, but spaced about 4 feet apart and get 6, they look great.

I should've read the description better. This light is TINY. I mean, it's ok I guess but I'm not thrilled with it over all.First, it's smaller than a soda bottle. Honestly, my travel coffee mug is bigger than this light. So if you're looking for something larger for your wall, this isn't it.Next, there's no cord. This is a bare, wire in yourself light. Comes with nothing to help you wire it up other than the instructions, so be sure you know how to access the wires in your walls, or splice a cord onto it. Luckily, my husband is handy and had no real issues with this, but he wasn't really expecting it to be this way.Next, this thing is CRAZY BRIGHT. Like, if you look at it, you're going to spend the next 2 hours bumping blindly into things in your house, bright. We meant it to add a little "cozy" lighting to our fairly dim living room, and while it looks ok from across the room, pity the poor person sitting beneath it who is crying that their eyes are melting. This silly little light contains half the direct power of the sun or something, I'm telling you.Over all, we aren't thrilled with it, but since we went through all the hassles to strip wires and mount the thing, we aren't returning it. It's just very, very rarely turned on. Like maybe, when I need to find a needle in thick berber carpet, or a contact lens on a piece of glass, or I just want to get a severe migraine while I read a book, then I may use it. Other than that, it stays off.I will say, it's well made and looks good. Just, they could do so much better...

PROS:- Minimalist design, very beautiful- Nice accent light- Good quality aluminum- LED lights run cool and have long life- Dimmable- Waterproof (helpful if installed outdoors)CONS:- Wall needs to be drilled (this is in the product description)- Instructions are not great, but reading the other reviews and questions helps a lotPro Tip:- Blue is the hot/live wire
