Heavy only by account of metal construction.I did put a thin bead of clear silicone around edge of solar collector on previous purchase to be sure rainwater would not get in.Packaged extremely well, double boxed, formed styrofoam surrounding lamp. Instructions printed as if they really cared.

I recently purchased a condo. I arranged it to be in Parisian apartment style. I saw this lamp and decided that design is perfect with interior decoration. I love solar energy powered devices and I thought that it would be great to keep this light in my front bay window t night. Lamp charges during the day and turns on at night. I has a design of a candle and it flickers like a candle light. What is really great is that regardless if one is at home or not, the light will come on. That way no one l know if anyone is home or not. It is better than timer lights.This lantern will required one AA battery that will need to be changed annually. I love the design in white color a lovely white flower. I think I will get a second one to match.

I purchased several of these pretty solar lanterns and have them on my patio. They are beautiful at night and I truly love them. Recently one stopped working. I reached out to the vendor and asked for help troubleshooting. I received a reply within that day with suggestions. Tried everything and gave feedback that still not working. I was a little past my warranty / return period but even given that the vendor offered to replace. My new lantern was here in four days flat. I am beyond impressed - at a time when most things are difficult this company went above and beyond to make sure I was happy. Thank you to Arianne for her kindness and great service. I feel you can purchase confidently from this vendor.

Nice looking lantern. Feels sturdy. Effect is pretty. Its just not that bright. Glad I purchased it though.

Well built, metal, Not plastic, works very well, photo cell is reliable, detects light, and turns off automatically with no issues.Also, the candle affect is very convincing, with a flickering amber light! Very very nice!Love this one!

These are stylish and reliable. They soak up the sun’s rays and shine for about 11 hours with some power to spare. Since they are metal, we bring them inside from uncovered areas when rain is forecast, as they are bound to rust in time. We have had them (3) for six weeks. Lovely by the front door.

This lantern is exactly what I was looking for to put in my flower bed in the front yard. It hangs nicely on a small sheperds hook and adds a bit of class to the area. It is well made and so far still lights up at night even after it has rained.

J'avais prévu l'insérer dans un décor de Noel à l'extérieur. Avec les batteries sous la lanterne ce n'était pas possible. Je l'ai installée sur le cadre d'une fenêtre à l'intérieur et elle est très belle.C'est pourquoi j'avais cancellé ma transaction mais avec la rapidité de livraison et la qualité du produit, j'ai décidé de conserver et je suis très heureuse.

Exactly as the description says it is. I added a red bow to transform it for Christmas... so it really is perfect all year round.
