Portwest Men's Raincoat,rain Coat

Out of the box, the product exceeded my expectations. Much better constructed than comparably priced rainwear. I have livestock, so I have to be outdoors in wet weather. This rain coat held up very well during a multi-day, heavy rain event. Hood was just right, not too big, didn't fall over my face. Really like the high, stand-up collar. Did a great job of keeping the rain and chill out. Re: sizing: I'm a smallish woman (slim, medium height). I bought the Medium because I want to wear it over warmer clothing. Worked fine. Short version: very pleased.

I have bought several raincoats and this is the most durable one I have ever had the length is perfect to keep you dry in the worse rain. I like my jackets loose fitting and this coat fit my shoulders and chest just right for better movement. The zipper and snap front closure gives you better protection from the elements.

Got stuck working in the freezing rain the other day and I was the only one who brought a rain jacket. Everyone got completely soaked but I was dry as a bone after being in the freezing rain for 4 hours. I was only wet below the knee. Works pretty decent as a wind block too. I’d recommend and say this jacket works just as good as the more expensive ones. Only slightly negative thing I can really say is the bottom button on the front pops open when I walk but not really an issue.

The jacket suits my purpose of morning dog walks in winds and rain in the Pacific Northwest. Protects some from wind, but not cold so be prepared. Good length and double seams and cuffs keep you dry. My only complaint is that I would like the pocket covers to be a bit longer to prevent water from entering the pockets.

It has all the details to keep water out: (1) elastic tight at wrist wit overlapping sleeve; (2) a zipper and overlapping lip you close with buttons to keep the water from coming through the interlocking fastener. Low enough to reach the top of my boots so I am dry low to high. Hood is fine and tucks away into its own pouch fastened with Velcro.Fits as expected. Very bright at night. Hood is well-sized and has draw strings. Snapped cover for throat.Excellent price-point-for-quality.

I bought this large enough to fit over a big coat and this is great. Very sturdy and substantial, the length of the arms and of the coat overall is just right, the hood is great too and can be tucked away if you don't want to use it. I am 5'11" and 160 lbs and the raincoat I ordered in 2 XL and fits perfectly over my heavy Carhatt so I can go out and do my chores in the rain.

Great jacket! I’m a truck driver that delivers rental equipment in all weather conditions so i’ve been through countless rain jackets, this one is the best so far. Very durable, heavy duty zipper, and buttons. I only wish it went down a little further. When standing it goes down just above my knees, but if i have to sit on a wet machine seat it doesn’t fully cover me. But overall great purchase. I highly recommend for and other CDL drivers out there
