Set of 3Solid Fruit Storage Crate Apple Crate Box from Altes Land 49x 42x 31cm - Natural

These were exactly what I was looking for to create three large Christmas hampers. The photo is not of the finished product, but to show you the amount of stuff that can be accommodated. I love the rustic feel of the crates and will use shredded paper to ‘lift’ the items for better display, and then wrap a large Christmas ribbon around the crate for a finishing touch. I know the recipients will be delighted with the hampers, and will also find the empty crates very useful afterwards. Five shiny stars from me 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

The crates arrived promptly, well packaged and they are good quality indeed. No splinters or muck like some crates! I went for the prepared finish, and they really go in any room, the wood blends with both our traditional and more modern furniture. So far I have used them for storing my sons games, and the others will be used for books, bottles etc downstairs, and I'm getting another set to use for clothes and shoes in my son's bedroom. So they are versatile and I feel a fair price. Very pleased, thank you.

I think these are excellent value for money and can be used for many different projects.I appreciate that others may hold a different opinion. My order came in the time window as stated. I was expecting them to be dirty based on other reviews, also flimsy. That was not the case as you can see via the images.

Two of these crates were really nice. They were solid and nicely constructed. The third one however was absolute c**p!!.As I took it out of the box it just came apart! The construction and colour were totally different and you could never call this item a set of three. I'm a keen woodwork crafter and able to do a pretty good job of making a silk purse out of a pigs ear,but this crate wouldn't stand up to the elements if I put it to use in the garden!I purchased three and ended up with two.

They arrived with mud on them which was a bit rubbish - but we've since painted them up and they're just what you want if you're looking for this type of crate

The crates arrived quicker than I thought however when opened the box was welcome by a splinter straight away as all the crates are made up of unsmoked wood. I've had to spent hours sanding them down. Further more they are not very sturdy as advertised they are extremely wobbly, this is not helped further by the split wood that has loosened and came away from the crate as the nail has came away. The wood is not of the best quality either, some rotten and split..

No handles cut, but that's easily sorted. These are amazing value for money and well made too. If it was possible to give them 6 stars out of 5 I would. 👍

Arrived 4 days earlier than amazons estimate. Solid crates, obviously used but exactly what I wanted!
