Fits Kestrel 4000
My old impeller fell apart (4-pieces) when I removed the meter from its case. The instructions included are for Kestrel 1000-3550 and 5000-5700 meters. Following the series 5 instructions, this impeller fit my 4000 just fine. And it works!

It is balanced! Even if it doesn’t look like it
“The Kestrel impeller IS balanced, and to a very high degree. It APPEARS to be imbalanced because of the tiny magnet incased within the impeller. The force acting on your impeller blade is magnetic, not gravitational.“

Easy fix
Easy to install, works perfectly. My original had the tiny bolt fall out of the middle, this is a 10 second fix and the kestrel works perfectly again.

Easy replacement, works great.
My older Kestrel's anemometer wheel separated and one of the vanes got bent somehow (I suspect a teenaged guest on our boat got a little too curious). I ordered this replacement, and after reading the instructions (it has to be lined up per the instructions), was able to replace impeller in a minute or two, and back to full operation.
