2nd Generation Professional Travel Size 0.5 inch Mini Flat Iron Tourmaline Ceramic Hair Straightener

Been using this every day for almost a month and love it so far. I’m a cosmetology student and purchased this inexpensive flat iron for edges and to get close to the root for presses and iron work. The flat iron that comes in our kits is too big for edges, tight curls and getting right up to the root so this has been one of my favorite purchases since pursuing my dreams of becoming a stylist and does all 3. My only wish is that it had a temperature control because not all hair types require the hottest setting. Other than that, it heats up super fast and has been very reliable. Small, compact design allows for easy travel to and from school/work. Highly recommend this item!

I am technically challenged by electrical gadgets and didn’t have a lot of hope for this. My short gray hair has become wavy and a little curly and impossible to tame. I got this because it’s small and I don’t need a big fancy one plus I am less likely to hurt myself! It is marvelous and I am mastering it easily. Great that it works like it’s supposed to.

Great size for travel if you don’t have a lot of hair to straighten. Gets hot. Overall good quality, just allow extra time.

This is a great straightener I used to straighten my beard which worked great I just wish the on and off switch wasn't on the inside so close to the actual iron. It was a little too hot in my opinion but still did the job.

The cut of my hair makes it about 3 inches long. My hair is not thick, but not too thin either. The texture of it is easy to straighten out with a flat iron this size. Unfortunately, I misplaced the one I had this size (different brand) that worked perfectly fine.I purchased this one and found it to be useless, as it did not close all the way to grab hold of hair to iron it.Due to some circumstances - I missed the timeframe to return item, so it was even more of a disappointment - had it been properly engineered to perform as it was supposed to I wouldn't have wasted my money.

I have a pixie so I can’t use the regular size irons. This one does work for my hair. However, the plates are square edged which create creases in my hair and the plates are not coated so it does tug my hair. I have a larger one from a different maker which has rounded edges and very smooth almost glass-like surface which glides through my hair and does not creat creases. But it’s too big for my short hair. Wish these two irons would get married and produce an offspring that would satisfy me!

Had no idea that these even existed! Works fabulous on the short/new growth hair around your face. Heats quickly and is very easy to use.

I bought this flat iron to leave in my desk drawer at work for those very humid days. I have very long, thick, fine hair with a slight wave to it that can sometimes get frizzy patches.PROS:-Fits nicely in my desk drawer-Good at fixing frizzy patches and ok at doing a slight curl to the ends only-Does heat up to a sufficient temperature-Amply long cordCONS:-Must wait a long time to get it to heat up to a sufficient temperature (~10-15 minutes)-Not great at providing an over all look because it's so small and my hair is so thick-It doesn't cool down very fast. I had to let it sit for at least an hour before it was sufficiently cool to storeOverall though I'm satisfied with it. It works well enough to smooth my hair when it gets frizzy and I don't have time to fix it before I leave for work.

I like how slim and small it is. Fully functional. Gets very hot. I used it to re-straighten a human hair wig that needed some attention. Worked well. Happy with purchase.

I work on a lot of seniors hair, and I have short little guys to curl. It is the right size, but a little stiff to use.

This flat iron was okay for styling my short pixie cut, but it does kind of get caught on the hair which is annoying and makes it a bit difficult to use. I only used it occasionally (once every 1-2 weeks) and it stopped working out of nowhere after only about 7 months. I tried to contact the seller and got no response.

Great straightener....very compact and the price was reasonable.....would recommend!!

Product was nice and small for travel but you have to hold it tightly or it doesn’t hold your hair to straighten it.
