Bauerfeind AchilloTrain Achilles Tendon Support

This doesn't seem like much when you open it, but the flexibility, plus support, plus where the support is positioned is magic. It's like getting physical therapy on your tendon while you walk. It holds the tendon in place AND it massages it, bringing blood flow to the tendon to promote healing. The more you move your ankle up and down, the more massage occurs. And it is light enough that you can wear a sock and shoe with it. I was able to resume tennis thanks to this...without surgery. CAVEAT: 1) Make sure you measure your ankle to secure the correct size--I read reviews that complained about its being too loose or too tight. This caused me to find the sizing chart and measure and I was glad I did. Also, don't wear this if you are not walking, moving, exercising--it's not meant to be worn while you are at rest as it can constrict blood flow without that massaging movement. This is worth the price.

It really helped with the pain in my heel and ankle. It takes a little while to get used to the heel support. I say it's a good value for the money because any relief from the kind of pain that I was having is worth the money

This brace changed my life. I work on my feet for hours and had so much pain. I had tried everything to get my Achilles to heal. Even other brands of braces. After a week the pain is so much better. I hope I can totally get the tendon to heal with this brace.The only issue I had was the sizing chart is way off. I had exchange my size 5 for a 3 (which is still a little too big). I am ordering an additional brace of a different style that a size 2.

I was in need of something to protect my Achilles because it gets stiff after I've been active. This was the only thing that looked as though it covered what I need. It took a while for me to buy because of the feedback and the price. The other issue was that there were no pics to show you the item anywhere. Well I took the plunge. I'm not necessarily unhappy. It has a heel cushion (which you could purchase just about anywhere for a REASONABLE price) that feel great. It has some shield over your Achilles which looks as though it goes down to the heel and protects and supports your Achilles. Not the case. It is over your Achilles which doesn't mean that it does anything. I feel as though it's protected but from what? It doesn't massage your Achilles it or make it feel better. It's just a sock with padding that you could have purchased for cheaper. The worst is because I bought an ankle support from a local medical supply store for $30 and it basically does the same thing. It does fit in my shoe and doesn't make me feel awkward running without having both sides so there's that

This has helped with my Achilles tendinitis. I had one of those supports a few years ago with a sports injury, but had worn it out. My Achilles’ tendon has been hurting again for the past two years. Finally I remembered this product and bought a new one. I noticed less pain very quickly. After using this combined with an ice pack and resting the tendon, I am seeing significant improvement. After wearing it every day for a couple of months, I am now only using a heel pad in my shoe.

I measured my ankle prior to ordering, and was at the top end of size 3 so ordered that. Nonetheless the brace is baggy around my ankle and is less compressing than a much cheaper, less-involved sock brace I previously ordered. I had high hopes since my orthopedic surgeon recommended this, but it is very disappointing.

This is my 4th. brace. First one was provided free by the V.A. Podiatrist. A very fine sturdy, strong comfortable brace. I suppose with this one I will hand wash it in the sink. The washing machine seems to lessen the strength of the fabric some what. I have used other products over the counter from Walgreens, CVS, Walmart etc. These other braces basically useless to me. ( Two partially torn Achilles tendons)

I know it sounds too good to be true but I can be limping in pain and put this one and immediately I walk normally. I have no idea how it works so well. I was offered nothing to say this.

Comprato per aiutare la camminata in seguito alla rottura del tendine Achilleo.Aiuta parecchio sostenendo bene il tendine. Il prezzo a dir poco regalato confronto a prenderlo in sanitaria.Unica pecca è la compatibilità con le scarpe in quanto ingombra non poco all'interno di essa. Di sicuro non utilizzabile con scarpe alte ma principalmente con scarpe da running o simili.
