Works as intended
I have a couple of Raspberry Pi 3B+'s mounted inside gaming cabinets and this is a great way to have access to change out the SD card without opening the cabinet.

Failed after 3 months
This thing worked okay for a few months, but failed after 3 months. I created a work around so that I don't actually have to use it. Just kind of a shame.When using this it only recognizes some of the partitions on the sd card, and creates all kind of read/write errors like it is getting bad sectors. Tested with multiple sd cards and multiple card readers.

Does what it should
I'm using the Oushe 15cm (6in) Micro SD Extension with an Odroid C2 in an ad hoc case with no opening for the SD card. This cable allows me to change the card in place, without any disassembly and jostling and removing of cables. The extender operates in a push-in to pop out way, which turned out to be OK for cramped quarters. It has been reliable over the few swaps I have done.

Cheapo junk
Adapter quit working after very little use, figured out the ribbon cable is what went bad. When it worked it was great but it's so fragile there's no real world application that work break it.

I use these with a Raspberry Pi mounted to a plywood base in a test harness
I use this adapter with a test harness that includes a raspberry pi. The standoffs for the Pi are not very long so it was difficult to use my fingers to extract the SD card. I even broke (cracked) a couple of cards trying to extract them.This gadget solved the problem completely.

while there doesn't appear to be any problem with the device itself,the picture on the page does NOT show the product advertised.while the description Indicates a correct cable length of about 8 cm, the pictureis of a cable of at least 20 cm or more.if you simply look at the picture and don't read the description carefullyyou will absolutely not get the product that you thought you were going to buy.

This micro SD to micro SD extension cable is amazing! You'll never know what you did without it. I use it to reach the SD card slot inside my creality cr10s pro for firmware updates. This way, I no longer need to take it apart just to update the screen art.

Not hot swappable.
Bought this to relocate my 3D printer TF card location as it's in a hard spot to reach. It does the job I purchased it for, but I wish I had bought the longer one, which was my fault, as I assumed it was longer than the image depicted.One thing that really annoys me is that it is not hot-swappable. When I change out the card, I have to unplug and replug it from the printer. Without this the port on the printer itself is hot-swappable. This alone is the reason for 2 stars. While it does move the port to an easier location, I still have to power cycle the printer, or unplug and replug this adapter. I would not have bought it had I known this.

it does the job, I use it for my ender3 v2 printer. you have to be careful as it doesn't stay in the slot if you pull it too much. but it looks fragile.
