This set of kitchen knives was bought in January of this year. After reading some reviews, I felt compelled to provide an update. These knives are used almost everyday, and they are not showing any signs of rusting or have lost their sharpness, and the pictures I am uploading can prove it (No filter has been added to any of the pictures).If you take good care of your knives, I am sure they will show their appreciation. Just follow these simple steps:- Don’t throw them in the dishwasher- Rinse them and dry them thoroughly after each use- Go easy on the soap. If they are not oily or greasy, just dry them well.- Use a mild degreaser once a week and give them a good rubdownI am extremely happy with this purchase and do not regret buying a set of more expensive knives.Hope this review helps you in any way, and should you have a question, please don’t hesitate to ask!

I was really impressed with the look of this knife set and holder online. True, the holder is merely acrylic, but unless you're really close up, you can't tell it's not glass and metal. It's an attractive way to store something you use so often. The knives themselves have a good weight to them and feel good in the hand. The handles are a bit slick so you probably don't want to attempt cutting anything while your hands are wet or an accident could occur. They cut through breads, meats, fruit like butter. I can't say anything about durability yet as I haven't had them that long. I haven't seen any rust spots showing up, but I do dry them well immediately after washing and return them to the holder. Leaving them soaking even for a few minutes usually isn't good for any knife. The customer service shown by this vendor was top notch. My holder arrived damaged. Company sent another within two days--before I even had a chance to get the damaged one in the mail to be sent back. Pretty happy with this purchase.

These knives are actually pretty good for the price, they’re durable and in my opinion look pretty good. I’ve been using them for nearly 3 weeks now and they’ve maintained their sharpness. There’s one problem I noticed however and it’s that they seem to rust easily. I have attached a few photos which shows minor rust spots on two of the ones I use most often.

These knives look great and store easily. I got them mainly because there's no plastic or wooden handle for the blade which be a source of bacteria. However, they are not that sharp and rust easily. You get what you pay for.

I bought these last year as a counter ornament (yes as an ornament they look super cool on black granite). They are rusting! Kinda bummed.....

These look more expensive than the cost. Need to wash and dry after use. These are well worth the price. Very sharp be careful. Good deal.
