Italian Gardens Hardcover – Illustrated, 30 Sept. 2010

Though written many years ago (actually decades) ago, this book is a classic. It is a to be read before and after rather than be taken on the visit since the format is large and the book is heavy. But for anyone seriously interested in the gardens, it is essential reading. Others, in comparison, are both light in content and weight.

This book really does stand the test of time. It is the ideal companion for anyone about to go, or having been o, a garden tour in Italy. My edition is now quite a old and I am very tempted to get the new one.

Aririved much quicker than expected and it is a lovely large book in good condition
