ABSOLUTELY DELIGHTFUL !
A wonderfully written story that combines paranormal fantasy with the tragic events of nine eleven at the Twin Towers in NYC. Such a powerful, gripping and compelling story. Colum, the size of Goliath, the smile of an angel and the inner fire and strength of a demon, is a fallen angel-a vampire- eternally cursed to be both guardian and protector of mankind, has found his Katherine, his fated mate and the eternal love of his life. He has loved her for a thousand years but will he be able to finally claim her and make her his queen for eternity? Will Katherine finally remember her past lives and be able to accept Colum and the truth of both their ancestries? The characters are interesting and intriguing. Even the villains of the story make the fantasy seem current and realistic. The story is smart, original, exciting, romantic, sweet, sexy and heartwarming. . I absolutely loved it. Very entertaining!

A Love Story That Stands The Test Of Time!!!! - 1st Book in a Wonderful Series
True love.....a strong emotion that CAN stand the test of time. In this wonderful read, Colum and Katherine are destined for one another. Every time Katherine "dies", she is reincarnated, and Colum, an Irish Vampire Prince will never stop loving her, despite having to wait for the next reincarnation to grow up!!!. With her latest reincarnation, he WILL stop it from happening again. Colum is sexy and mysterious with cover model looks....what woman could say no to that!!! He is also protective, and tender...sigh.The reader is taken through a myriad of emotions, from sadness, to happiness, and even suspense! I highly recommend this story to those hoping and looking for a love story that stands the test of time!!!!Don't forget to read the next book in the series, "I've Been Waiting for You (My Beloved Vampire)"....it's even better!

Good premise, but poor execution
I liked the story, the plot, and her use of 9/11. It sucked me in, but then the story went flat until the end, which seemed ridiculous that she would leave a protected place, with multiple servants, to get milk. I couldn't buy that aspect, so it felt forced on the author's part to move the plot along. The climax was pretty short and not much happened. The largest issues I saw was the author's inability to clearly depict actions happening. Actions were described in an awkward manner, things were missing and confusing (kissing him on the porch, suddenly talking to him from within the car, for example), and often the important parts were glossed over while mundane everyday occurances (the logistics of getting to the mall, for example) were described in detail. Last, as in all books that obviously aren't edited by a professional, grammar was a problem. There were errors here and there but then/than were incorrectly used throughout most of the book (more than, less than, not then!). Grammar issues point out unprofessionalism in the field; with a developmental editor to take care of continuity issues and copy editor to fix grammar, this could be an excellent novel.

vampires
Colum is a warrior prince from Ireland and a Vampire. Katherine goes to work like any other day but this happens to be the day of the terrorist attack on the World trade center and of course she is there for a meeting, and about to have her life changed forever..she loses her husband, is rescued by Colum and then a lot of things happen that changes everything.

Couldn't Put This Book Down
What a book! Love Kat and adore Colum which is why I couldn't put the book down. It was touching when Colum promised Kat's husband to look out for her but what really was so great was that even with all the problems with the terrorists, love continued. It's a shame that the terrorists couldn't learn to leave well enough alone, but then, do they ever, ever learn? Now my next question is: WHEN IS VOLUME 2 COMING OUT IN PRINT AND ON KINDLE? I can't wait to continue reading their story. Thanks.

Vampires vs terrorists. Guess who wins.
On 9/11 Katherine McNamara loses her husband, a firefighter in NYC. She is saved from the towers explosion by a handsome, warrior-type man who also happens to the the son of the vampire king. As fallen angels it is Colum's family responsibility to protect the world from evil deeds. Terrorists are at the top of this list. It is exciting and romantic. The kind of life I can't wait to visit again. Can't wait to get the next book.

Great!
Colum needs his mate. He's been waiting for her again maybe this time he can change her so he can keep her. Kat is feisty. She will do what she wants. So what does destiny decide?
