I've tried a few different products over the years. Maison Lambert meets all my expectations. Attention to quality, premium ingredients, quantity of product for the price.On first use I noticed that I did not need to use much of the shampoo at all. It lathers up very well with just a small amount. The scent is mild and pleasant. The beard balm is soft and easy to apply to my beard. It also pleasant to the nose and not over the top with fragrance. The oil is moisturizing and works as it should. My skin did not react negatively like it has with other products. The mustache wax is thicker than expected, but it provides good hold that is fragrance free. I like this since I am putting this right under my nose, I don't want to only smell my beard care products all day. The Comb is easy on the beard hair and does not pull and yank. It glides through the beard with ease. All in all this is a fantastic product that I will be purchasing again when my supply runs out.

Product arrived and beard oilbottle cap is defective and cannot be opened. This is an absolute inconvenience for a semi - luxury produc. Where is the quality control? Please reach out to me and replace urgently. My perception of the product is still salvageable.

I purchased this product about 3 months ago after a considerable amount of research. Having grown my beard off and on for the last 10 years I finally decided to see if beard care products were worth it. I would often get ingrown hairs around my chin and on my neck as well as beard-itch, especially during the early stages. This was the first beard product I have ever used and while a little pricier than many others, I am now a dedicated customer of Maison Lambert because of their high quality, organic products.The balm goes on smoothly and a little bit goes a long way. My first application I used too much and my beard felt greasy and looked shiny (but boy did it smell good). Once you get the proportion down based on the length of your beard (for almost 3 inches of growth I still us a little more than a pea size) it typically soaks it up nicely and makes your beard nice and soft. I put it on in the morning after my shower and I feel that it keeps my beard soft for most of the day.The oil has the same scent as the balm, absorbs nicely, and helps a lot with new growth itch. It is applied with a dropper. I apply 6-8 drops of the oil to my beard and my neck after I shower at night and just to my neck in the morning to keep the itch away.The beard shampoo comes in a bar, smells great and has an excellent lather. It doesn't take much to get a nice lather and after 3 months I still have what looks like an unused bar.The body wash was wonderful as well. It also lathered up nicely, smelled wonderful, and left my skin feeling smooth. It was a little harsh around my eyes and stung a bit. It didn't last very long but is an excellent product.I already have a good comb and I use a firm boars hair brush so the comb that comes with the kit was not that necessary for me but it’s a nice, wooden, compact, comb that could easily fit in a jacket pocket or a small bag pocket. It also comes with a little sleeve.It looks like the kit has changed in the 3 months since I bought it, which is a bit disappointing. The kit I ordered came in a cigar box and didn't have mustache wax, which would have been nice to have.The scent of this product is what I really find to be exceptional. It is very complex, "manly," and addictive. My wife loves it. She said it's the smell she wants our sons to remember me by. I got some samples of other brands but they smelled "childish" in comparison. My only problem with the scent is that it doesn't last long enough. I am not sure if this common for all beard products but after about an hour both the oil and the balm lose their potency and I find myself longing for the smell throughout the day.One issue is that I see that there is no way to individually replace items as they run out. The oil will run out before the balm and I would like to be able to purchase more when I run out without having to buy the entire kit. I don’t want another comb and I don’t need more balm yet but Amazon doesn’t seem to carry the individual products (except the balm). This is an excellent product that I will continue to buy as it runs out I may just have to use the Maison Lambert website instead of Amazon.
