Needed to replace my Apple earpods because I thought I lost them. First box arrived without the plastic wrapping/seal you would expect to find with a newly unwrapped item. When I tried it, the bass was only coming out of the left ear and the treble seemed really high overall. Guessing this might not have been a completely new item that was sent to me.Decided to give this product a chance, so I ordered a replacement. Order arrived the next day with the box fully wrapped/sealed. The sound is good enough. The bass isn't the best, but at least the treble isn't overpowering. The microphone is decent.For the price I paid, I feel I got my money's worth, if not a little more. There were enough 5 star reviews on this product to convince me that I got unlucky with the first order and that I should give this product a second chance. Glad I ordered a replacement. There is a noticable difference in sound quality when I received a fully functioning product. HAPPY WITH THIS PRODUCT.

1 year update: After using these on daily basis the microphone on it started to fail. When I reached out to support, they were very responsive and happy to send me a replacement pair. Given these lasted for a year of constant use and don't sound pretty good compared to other in-ear gaming headsets I've used (including a major brand), I would consider buying again.5 month update: I've used these earbuds in a near daily basis for gaming sessions with friends and they continue to hold up well. However, the plastic cover of one of the buds had felt loose for a while and today it finally fell off exposing the circuitry underneath which only took a small bit of super glue to fixFor the value, these are an amazing pair of headphones with a mic!I wear glasses and often have problems wearing over-the-ear headsets for gaming and find these types of headphones more comfortable for extended play sessions. When my old pair broke after two years of constant use, I decided to give these a try. I was impressed by the sound quality -- the bass is slightly deeper than my old pair and everything sound very good through them.The boom mic is convenient as now my friend can hear me when I speak, which always used to be an issue with the in-line mic on my previous pair.However, the boom mic tends to move quite a bit and often needs adjusting. Friend have said that I sounded weird on the new mic and found that the boom mic picks up less bass than the in-line mic on this set. As they described it, it sounds kind of like talking through a walkie-talkie, but my voice was still easy to understand. Once I unplugged the boom mic, it sounded more natural, but then I sounded farther away.PROS:Good sound quality for the priceComfortable during long periods of useEasily switch from boom-mic to the low-profile in-line mic.CONS:Boom mic doesn't hold its form, has to be adjusted regularlyBoom mic doesn't sound as good as the in-line mic

I play my games on a laptop because I travel back and forth quite a bit and I was looking for a pair of nice headphones with a mic that I could easily take with me. I've never been a fan of over the ear headphones mostly because of how bulky and uncomfortable previous pairs that I've had have been. When I found these, they seemed like they would be exactly what I was looking for and they had a design that I thought was unique. But now that I've used these for something like a month, I find myself going back to my old headset again.One of the things that I did really like about them was that the mic on them was very nice. Usually with earbuds, it’s a real shot in the dark to find a pair for cheap with a working mic (at least in my experience), but this one worked really well and sounded clear and didn't need a whole lot of adjustment. And the other thing was that they were fairly inexpensive. Gaming headsets can usually run you between 50-100 dollars, so I was happy to only spend around 20 on this pair. And finally, I really liked that you could detach the mic and use them like a normal pair of headphones. It was something that I’ve never seen in any kind of earbud before.When I first got the headphones, I immediately noticed that they were poorly designed. The part that goes in your ear is shaped like a standard headphone but a little bulkier on the outside. They ended up not staying in your ears very well because they were too heavy, especially on the side with the microphone on it. I also wish that they included buttons to control the volume on the headset. Another thing that I found was that after about a month of light use, the sound in one of the ears began to go out and was much quieter than the other side.I wouldn’t say that my experience with these headphones was negative. I only needed them for a short period of time, and the microphone worked perfectly. However, while the headphones did fulfill some of the things that I was looking for, they fell short in many other areas. Overall, I would recommend either looking for another brand or saving up your money for a nice headset.

I recieved these in a timely manner. The box was undamaged.Actually using them was a fantastic experience. They don't posses booming bass but the sound quality was very clear and crisp. I whatsapp my fiancé a lot and she could hear me loud and clear. My previous ear buds had a lot of static and conversations were sometimes muddy. These did not have those issues at all. In fact I could hear my fiancé so loud that I had to turn the volume down. Previous post that claim the sound quality was poor have lead me to believe that they may have received duds. It happens sometimes.The earbuds fit just fine. I have had no issues with them falling out. No matter how hard I shake my head they fit securely and snuggly.I am sure you could find ear buds with booming bass or whatever it is you want, but for the price of these you can't just beat these. If you are looking for good earbuds for talking or listening to music with decent quality then I would highly recommend these. I liked them so much I bought a set for my fiancé.
