Smell is great and perfect! Except for the quality, I literally just received this item an hour ago, I was ready to wash the car, have this scent going and the bottom part just fell off?! As you can see the glass broke somewhere inside there?? I have no clue how something like this happens?? I’m hoping it’s just a hiccup in the manufacturing dept, they are sending me a new one which is great news! Hoping the next one works out just fine.****Update****** I just saw another review on here about reading the instructions carefully before using, the thing is though packaging didn’t come with instructions I had to guess on how to put it together. Anyways, I received an email from the company via email with the following instructions yesterday:1. When you are filling the diffuser using the included Lavender Essential Oil, after lining up the hole on the oil bottle with the hole on the diffuser, gently tap the bottle to help the oils flow into the diffuser.2. It is very important that you do not over tighten the wooden lid to prevent damage to the glass diffuser. Once you begin to twist and feel resistance, do not continue to tighten. A slightly loose fit is desired. As the wood absorbs the oil it will expand over time and gradually tighten onto the diffuser.If you have any questions, concerns, or issues with your product please reach out to us directly through this Amazon message. I’m so excited about this car diffuser. I've only had it in my car for a week, but I already can't imagine living without it.I always get a headache from traditional car air fresheners, so I found this one on Amazon and thought it would be a great alternative. It comes with lavender essential oils (my favorite), but I liked the idea that I could switch it out for any essential oil. I'm planning to try peppermint next for the holiday spirit.When I opened the box, I was immediately excited. It seems like such a small thing, but the packaging was gorgeous. Each item had its own little place in the box, which was super cute. I'm keeping the box in my car so I can refill the reservoir when I need to.At first I put it in my car without the reeds (the stick things) and couldn't smell much. Once I put them in, the lavender started spreading immediately. It smells great! I'm pretty sensitive to smells, and this didn't bother me at all. Now it's something I look forward to every time I get in my car. Plus it's nice that I don't have to worry about my car smelling like food if I get takeout.I didn't love how crowded my air vents looked with my cell phone holder and the Kindred Diffuser, so I got the idea to hang it from my mirror. It's perfect there and works just as well as being on the vent.Overall, it works well and it's so cute. Would also be great in a bathroom!

When my Kindred diffuser arrived it was EXACTLY what I'd hoped for. Well packaged, clean lines, attractive and easy to fill. The scent it came with was just ok so when that ran out I added a more high quality oil. I drive a minivan with three young children so it was AWESOME to have it smelling nice! Then one day I looked over and it seemed like it was leaning a bit. Upon further inspection the top had came off - with the glass still in the bamboo. Thank goodness for the diffuser reeds - those were the only thing holding it together! It was never dropped or touched aside from my refilling it one time. No idea how this happened but it shouldn't have - obviously defective. For $20 it should have lasted longer. Five stars if it had.

looks great, scent that came with it was great, but it is a bit of a pain to fill. due to the small rim size and most oils using dropper bottles, it just takes a while to fill this thing, and the dissipation sticks just sit loosely in it so they can rattle or accidentally come out. overall a bit pricey for what it is, but I don't regret buying it.
