Outstanding phone, likely ruined by politics
My friends laughed at me last week when they heard I’d purchased an Honor 8X in the middle of a US-China trade war and a Huawei ban. They’re probably still laughing, and maybe rightly so, but I’m happy with my phone.Of course, I worry that as a casualty of geopolitics my phone might be orphaned after August 19 and cut off from the rest of the Android universe. This means I’d probably never get Android Pie, and lose access to the Play Store and to Android updates. However, the phone is gorgeous, and it works like a dream. I’d previously owned an Honor 7X and thought I knew what to expect, but this phone blew me away. The Honor 8X is a budget phone in price only. It’s a stellar performer with a big, beautiful display, gorgeous aesthetics, and a premium build. It’s a flagship experience in a budget package, and I couldn’t be happier with it.Fingerprint scanning and facial recognition work flawlessly, and all my applications open quickly and run smoothly. Call quality is good, as is LTE and Wi-Fi reception. I’ve heard the cameras are not outstanding, but while it may not dethrone the iPhone XS for image quality, the Honor has not disappointed me with the photos it’s taken so far.Overall, I’m delighted with the Honor 8X, and I look forward to many happy years with it, provided the politicians can work out a deal to spare the life of this phone.

4G LTE & LTE - A WORKS ON AT&T - Used in Houston Texas and Greater Houston Area - GREAT PHONE
I picked up this phone for a friend who was going to use a spare line on my AT&T account in Houston Texas and Greater Houston Area. The shipping was outstanding with the device being packaged well. Comes with a screen protector preinstalled, a case, and headphones (in addition to the USB micro charger). The screen is full HD (close to ultrawide resolution) with crisp and bright colors. Very snappy android experience (surprising to me as i'm an iPhone user). The camera snaps we took came out pretty well, as well as the portrait mode. This phone has a premium and flagship feeling without the flagship price. Battery life is good as well, but charging will take longer than its USB-C offerings by Honor. While some bands are missing for AT&T, full voice & data is supported. 5 bars with LTE speeds no issue. Not once did i drop to 3G.The phone supports up to 400GB microSD card which is nice for media downloading hogs, and has two sim slots (this is more appropriate for international customers, but is nice if you want to get a cheap voice and text only plan with cricket, and then getting an unlimited data plan with Fi or freedomPOP.).9/10.Pros:Supports AT&T LTE fullyBuild quality is flagship equivalentScreen quality is amazing, and the notch can be hidden by softwareThe LCD is laminated to the glass, which increases the viewing angles dramatically, and increases brightnessCamera quality is competitive with flagships, and supports Portrait ModeHas face unlock and fingerprint readerSupports high capacity microSDQuick Bootup and shutdownQuick and snappy responsiveness from CPUComes with a case and screen protector preinstalledHEADPHONE JACK & HEADPHONES!Cons:Micro USB - Slow to charge (but cheap cables to buy)Mono speakerFingerprint magnet9/10

Love it works great.
Actually a very nice looking and usable phone. Fast and smooth for 4gb of ram it does the trick. Battery lasts all day power using and charges relatively fast. No wireless charging though which stinks. Only been 4 days using it so I can't say in the long run it'll be. System 9.0 update has flaws you lose led notification light and seems a bit buggy so stay on 8.0 for a while till 9.1 rolls out. Decent phone decent price.

So, you want a cheap smartphone?
You're not really wanting to spend over $300, $400, or more on a smartphone but want something that will last you decent amount of time before upgrading again. This is it.This phone takes a lot of aesthetic/cosmetic features from others, giving you a reasonably priced phone that doesn't feel antiquated at all.I've been using this phone for over a week and it has been a phenomenal experience. I did a fair amount of research prior to buying due to being located in the United States. Will this phone be compatible in the US? yes as long as it is the JSN-l23 model, so as soon as it arrives ensure you received this model if in the U.S.Data speed it's great! But not amazing. I'm willing to make that compromise, especially with a phone this well designed.Battery life is excellent, lasting me a full day with enough to spare for day of light use.(I am a heavy user)The camera is great, take advantage of the "pro" manual control option which let's you really show what this camera can do!.Since Amazon only allows 5 stars, if I could rate this out of ten I'd give it a 9/10.The only flaw being that the reception is not optimized for use in the US but works well still, though I understand things are not well between the U.S. and Huawei.

Great reception, excellent screen, and finger reader
This phone is excellent as it is simple to use as it has an excellent finger reader with a beautiful large clear screen. Very easy to configure and to reset (just in case-easier than most celulars). Reception is awesome, and I say this comparing to my own Sony xperia, another IPhone X, and another Samsung. We get two extra reception bars with this cell phone. The camera is also very good. Shy from both my Sony Xperia (camera has always been best with the Sony) and the IPhone X. Very fast internet uploads/downloads. Video streaming seamless. Colors are true like Xperia and I phone. The best feature so far has been the dual finger recognition and the dual chip capability. Very nice cellular and price is excellent as well. Seriously recommend this one, if camera is not your highest priority. The reception by far the best we have seen. I live in a ravine with very poor cellular reception. Slim and way much lighter than the IPhone X. Battery lasts around two days even under heavy usage. Hope this helps.
