Nice product
Great product... initially I wasn’t sure how it would look on my stainless steel S&W model 59 but it looks sweet and feels great. I have a pretty large hand so (although not beefy) like packmeyers (sp?) it’s still a nice comfortable fit.

Replacement / uprade grips for Smith & Wesson mo 59/459
These grips aare a perfect upgrade to your S & W auto pistol. The fit and finish is awesome. They require no alteration at all, just unscrew the old one and screw on these fine looking wood grips. Made my 25 year old pistol look like a new one. I replaced my bulky rubber shooting grips with these and shot a hundred rounds with them installed and they did not slip in my hand.

Quality control not good:
I bought two sets of these grips for newly purchased S&W Model 59s. The first set of grips installed easily and fit beautifully. The second set of grips had one set of screw holes countersunk to accommodate the screw heads. The other set of screw holes were not countersunk, so the screw heads did not recess into the grips and the screw shanks did not reach the threads. Obviously, any attempt, by me, to countersink the holes would risk messing up the grips, so I had no choice except to return the grips for a refund. Fortunately, I have no immediate need to use the gun. I reordered a similar grip from another source and am trusting that I will get a fully functional set of grip panels this time around.
