Great book!!! I wanted to read up on my Chicago mobsters

I learned a lot about the Chicago outfit from this book. It was entertaining as well as informative. I liked that the author tied together the fact that a lot of these men that were enemies in life are now buried in some cases in view of those that may have killed them or arranged their deaths in Mount Carmel Cemetery.

Having grown up in the area Big Al and the mob have always fascinated me. I have never read a mafia book before and found this book to be an easy read and very informative. The explanations of the known mobsters were there along with the history as to how they cam into power. I learned a lot.

I found this book to be good reading, not great. It read as just a list of facts and names, although it was educating.

Was told this was a good read!

If you know the basics of Chicago mobsters then this book will bring you to the next level. If you don't then a lot of the names will leave you confused cause he mentions many

This was a gift to a cousin who is compiling a family history. She and her husband enjoyed it and unfortunately, recognized a few names. 8-)

Got this as a Christmas gift for my mother because she's into anything about the mob history and she loved it

Really liked it, Gave me a good understanding of how it was in the 1920,s during prohibition years.
