It works. I was able to replace parts in motor quite easily.
I resourced these parts after establishing the problem with my old A901 food mixer. They were exactly what I needed and quite straightforward to replace.

Cash saving repair
The components were exactly right and I was able to resurrect a 40 year old Kenwood Mixer. Some patience and basic soldering skill is required but the end result is a plus Around £10 for components added to my own time (took me a couple of careful hours) saved upwards of £500 for a replacement . Our machine was made in Havant, new , and probably unrepairable,ones come from China, ours to coin a phrase was Clyde Built. Bring back the best of British Engineering

Just needed the capacitors and I expect most fixes are the same. Wife very happy now her retro mixer is working !
